How many of you heroes are playing the 1500 minbetting for the glory? Given that it's almost certainly not worth the time from an hourly perspective.

Edit: Not saying it's not close by any means, and you were at the table so you obviously have a better idea of his range, I also remembered the ante is 50 at the WSOP at 400BB now not 25, which makes me want to call more. Feh. Assuming a full table we're getting almost exactly the right price vs. TT+, AKo, AKs but we can has two ten bluuckers.

Tl;dr: I'm late to the thread and I'm a nit.
I'm getting very close to right price, and occasionally they show up w/99/55/A8s or other whacky hands. And metagame if having big stack instead of folding back to mid stack huge, early enough I could still get into Bellagio mix game.

The overlap on scheduling is just horrible for limit/mix game players. It's bad enough they got rid of the limit shootout and 6 max event, but if I make day 2 in the dealers choice event I can't play 1500 holdem, and I can't play 8 game tourney because day 2 of that is 10k holdem. I could be wrong but I assume be majority of mix players are converted limr holdem players and they would likely have significantly better turnout for both events if they were simply spaced another day apart.

Easy game: Don't make any Day 2s.

I aspire to miss day 1's because I am busy with day 2s

Curious to see which games are picked the most, least, etc

Most was clearly badeucey / badacey, and for good reason! Every semi competent player at those had massive experience and skill edge. I had a toughish table and those two games were hilarious. Saw a lot of plo and PLO/8, some 5 card draw high and basically no stud games

Brag: I took apart and fixed my washing machine!

Beat: I had to open it up twice more to reconnect things I forgot to reconnect.

Beat: The sheet metal housing was the hardest part to get right so tgat added tons of time to the project.

Variance: I paid double for the oem parts (still cheap) since the parts guy was "trying to get rid of them" but then hit him up for free advice.

With all the different PL/NL games available it seems crazy not to pick one early on at a soft table, with the chance to take someone's whole stack who has no clue.

My experience was similar, with exception of lots of deuce, some badugi & razz, and 5 card single draw once.

Unless you suck at big bet like me

Well I don't think they are going to 3 bet the QQQ9 in PLO, which is about the equivalent of what I saw in badeucy.

How many people have "no clue" at PL or NL games?

Probably less than the number who have "no clue" at limit badeucy. Like you may end up with people at the table who literally don't know all the rules.

tournaments are dumb. i had an amazing table. it was me, 7 fish, and jon_locke. i doubled my stack in the first two levels and spent the next 4 giving it away. i'm assuming jon_locke made it to day two since he had a decent stack when i busted. gogogogogoggo

Warning-not for faint of heart
Surfdoc or Leodoc: if one were say to get a splinter the size of a toothpick into ones knee, you try and remove it, it breaks off and remains into the knee, even going under the cap. To remove the splinter, is it necessary to not numb the area before an er doc removes it? This happened to one of my brothers. He said the pain from removing it was secondary to a kidney stone. They refused to numb the area before removal. Standard?

It is certainly reasonable to anesthetize the are before removing a foreign body. There could be a time when I offered local as an option if and only if I thought the pain would be equivalent both with and without it. I would always numb the area if requested (no matter how small) and to be honest your story is so preposterous I don't actually believe it and would guess there was a miscommunication.

And, lol at your warning.

Oh and which hospital was this? If the story is true your brother should probably write a complaint to the ED director.

This is Armor's homework that was assigned after he paid off a few hands in NL. The real question is was there any copy and pasting or was it done correctly?
