check the cal counter online. rollerhockey is close to all out sprinting up and down a rink 4on4 w/o any substitutions. even stopping to breath ever 5ish mins for 1-2mins over a 1.5-2hr period burns 1k calories. i don't think my heart rate dipped below 150 (i'm 32) once it gets up there the whole time i'm out there between breaks.

"vigorous swimming" ~= 750cals/hr. i do a pretty strenuous swimming workout so being conservative it's about what i posted.

it definitely adds up.

EDIT: i just randomly went to a site (fitday.com) and it said swimming was 701 and ice hockey was 545 cals/hr. that's wrong. if you play all out hockey you just can't breath. i know yesterday i had 10x more trouble keeping with it than during one of my swims.

never fished there but im sure it depends on time of year/time of day/current feeding habits. right now they are fairly shallow in the vegas wash being caught primarily on cut bait tho im sure other methods would work well too

as a comparison, you'd need to run about 8 miles to burn 1K calories, fwiw:

not sure what your goals are, but if they're fat loss doing all this while on a juice only type diet means a lot of your weight loss is going to come from muscle loss. On such a severe deficit you need to eat a lot of protein to hold on to your muscle (like, pretty much 95% of your cals from lean protein, with no fat or carbs). If all you care about is losing lbs, ofc it will work just fine.

My boy and I fished it late March or early April about two years ago. Did a lot of sight fishing and slow trolling in shallow water looking for the schoolies. We caught fish, but it was cold and windy so there was that.

Still, the worst day fishing is better than the best day at ...

No plans, just wondering around drinking and making -ev gambool. I will say you're less likely to lose money at credit card roulette then the more conventional version of the game.

He might not make any $1000 spins on conventional roulette.

Wow, finally got around to reading PJ's TR and find that I am mentioned twice in a TR that I wasn't involved in. Someone has a crush on me!

didn't read the article but i used to burn 750 cals by running 6miles at 7.5min/mile (45mins) so that sounds right. and i can promise you 1.75hrs of roller hockey even with starting/stopping for breathing is *WAY* harder than running 8 miles straight. the stop/go nature and quick turns while doing lots of upper body work to play against solid skaters and stronger people makes it such a sick workout that there's no way 1k cals is wrong for that workout. plus there's passing and shooting and puck handling when in a small rink with quick movements is so unfathomably harder than consistent cardio it's just a world apart.

yea i realize it's illogical but some of me is irrational. i wanna see the scale say something way less than it says now lol. then i'll be doing 2 days of recovery, having an ex come by for 4 days which will not be ideal but then altering my diet to high protein, low carb, and high exercise to do the rest of the work til i look like i wanna look then i can switch to maintenance diet.

the fact that i BARELY fit into my "fat" clothes (i.e. 34/30 pants) just upset me too much. and i realize that's also along the lines of fat loss as muscle is denser than fat but again, 1 step at a time...as illogical as that may be lollll

The first rule of hustling is not to have the game right next to you in the casino and instantly start with money games 'cardo. You must have "accidentally" forgot it in the back seat of your car. "Oh hey this is a cool game I used to play back in the day, we should plays its pretty fun."
