just busted the horse, tournaments are a joke, the more of them i play the more i realize just how incredibly well some people have run over their poker career. 18k going into 5/10, lose a huge stud pot with (J3ss)KsAx3xJx vs the 99Jx board that had I believe an ass end gutshot with his hole cards rivering trip 9s, lost a huge stud 8 pot that was 3 bets 4 ways on 3rd with the 3rd bet being put in by (A6)6, open QTo in late middle in H get 3bet and cf A75r, defend QJ in H in bb cf A92r, get my last 2 bets in PF 3 ways w AQ, the initial pfr bets out on 984r, the other guy folds, pfr has AJo, turn 4 riv J just like it should always be. lol fmlaments

1500 nl deuce is supposed to be next but im also supposed to do something on friday so idk if ill play. its the only event ive ever cashed and my favorite game so id like to not miss it but im also really ****ing sick of poker

I'd hate poker too if I had 1000 bb downswings.

dont quit. play in your tournament on friday. just stick to the fundamentals, all you can control is the decisions you make so focus on that stuff and keep making good decisions.

if u make good decisions on friday and bust, so be it, thats the breaks ... you have a back up plan anyway. good luck on friday.

My bet is processing it requires heavy drinking, which might influence the depth of the downswing.

So had 16.5 BB starting day 2 of horse, had 0BB after 21 hands. Details elsewhere if you somehow want to read the banality, at least DD/Ian have a chance to make today suck less

There was the hand where he called 3 cold pre and CR Jxx. He flashed the other guys I am assume was AJ but it was super clear DD had him beat.
