I hate every street (including pre). Well, I guess the river call with a J must be okay.

On the other hand, if you want a real abortion of a hand:

Slumming big PLO player deigns to play a bit of 50 mix with us, including badugi. He limps, button raises, I call with some terrible 3 card hand in the BB. 1/2/1, check/check/bet/call/call. 1/pat/1. check/bet/call, and I've made a jack, decide that his call/pat line must mean he was some even worse hand, so I raise, and he folds. Button calls and bricks the last draw and folds. PLO player starts grousing about how he can't even win with a 7. Everyone else at the table sort of stares at him, and he basically says, "what? you must have that beat if you're checkraising me after I pat after the first draw, right?" After playing with him some more I'm pretty sure he was being sincere.

It takes a real man to admit when he's wrong, and while I'm not a real man I will pretend to be one here.

I should not have opened this hand UTG, even in this game.

I should not have 4 bet PF, or reraised this hand at any time.

I should never have broken or folded at any time, against this particular player.

I would have admitted this openly yesterday, but I was in the middle of a -90 BB downswing in the 75 when I posted, and was not being honest with you, my fans, my wife, or myself.

It was an all time great game and I, for a time, had an all time great seat. I butchered more than just this one hand (I refuse to discuss any Stud8 hands). I turned a small win into a big loss because of ego, and greed, and was a complete dick to my wife because of my own failings.

I will be in Vegas Thursday- Sunday, if anyone wants to say hi to this despicable degenerate and horrible player, PM me.

P.S. While I clearly made a series of hugely -EV decisions in this hand, any unbiased observer would have to label it one of my most awesome hands ever (and hopefully something I never, ever do again).

And I trust you and your lovely bride will be joining us on Friday. I'm gonna be audacious enuf to post the dinner menu 'cause PJ has opted out due to work obligations and I wanna rub it in just a lil. But you'll be in good company and I'm pretty sure I can offer up some decent wine to go along with the yellowtail and rib eyes and oysters and caviar.

Incidentally, tell Brandon that I'll expect him to keep and eye on Lil One after the house party 'cause I'm pretty sure she wants to go clubbing when we're done with dinner.

Definitely wasn't an option. If it was, I pick the leo doc party every time.

I finally had the opportunity to play Commerce after living down here for 6 months.
Definitely a different breed of players than Oceans.
