Hi. My name is Chris. This is my 10,000th post. (NSFW pics inside!!!)

So I started playing poker when I was 18, which was like 9 years ago and then 2 or 3 years later I discovered twoplustwo.com and now I'm posting my 10,000th post. This has got me to thinking how much poker has meant to me and what it has done for me (and to me) and where would I be without it? Honestly, poker has been both a gift and a curse. It has brought me all sorts of freedom and a comfortable lifestyle that is hard to imagine without as it's all I've really known since I was old enough to enter a casino and take your guys' money. On the other hand, poker has probably ruined my life, or altered it in such a way which it would be difficult to lead a normal productive life. I'm almost 27 years old and I've never had a job and I'm probably not even qualified to work the cash register at your local bookstore. It's impossible now for me be a doctor or lawyer or anything like that; I've pretty much entrenched myself as an outcast of society - a dirty filthy Asian gambler. But honestly, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

In case that was too emo for you, here is a picture of Megan Fox:

So please use this thread to ask me stuff about poker and gambling and whatnot! I'm not going to answer anything too personal though, this is a effing internet poker forum not my Hello Kitty diary I keep under my bed.

Oh yeah, I will also use this thread to post awesome hands for you to marvel at! I just gotta go through my notes to find some:

Here are a couple that I've played the past couple months on the internets:

I honestly don't know, though one hand in particular stands out. playing a 2k hand of blackjack involving 3 splits and 4 doubles (for a total of $16,000) against the dealer's upacard of 6. I don't remember my exact hands that I got but obviously the dealer pulls like a 5 card 21 and takes my monies.

Does it tilt you when retards address you as CSC?

If poker was banned by whoever is president in 2016 (when you are 33) and you have to stay in America, what would you do for a living?

Do you use your watch's second hand or your 2+2 post count to randomize button clicking online?

Do you care if you are well known in poker circles or do you just want all the monies?

Would you rather win a bracelet or punch Phil Hellmuth in the mouth?

If I call, is it all ovah baby?

If we wanted to take each others rolls, shouldn't we just have stayed home?

Man this would take a really long time! But I guess I'll try a story or two.

so 2 to 4 years ago (i feel so old i can't even remember what year this was) i was playing on full tilt. i was in the middle of a pretty bad downer for the month, maybe 30 or 40k. so i'm stuck a little and bored and saw that David Benyamine was sitting at a huhu 300/600 table. I have like $60k in my FTP account so i'm like totally overolled for a HU poo flinging contest right? we play for a little bit and he hit and runs me for like $8k so naturally I feel a little cheated. i want to be able to blow my entire roll to him without him quitting first! actually he quit because he was starting up a 500/1000 6max game so naturally i follow him there because, like $52k is enough for a 500/1k game right? nobody's ever lost 52 bets before amirite?

i don't know how i lost the money, but i do remember the game being pretty good and i do remember one hand in particular. Benyamine OPEN LIMPS on the button 6 handed. the small blind does something and I raise AQ in the big blind and DB calls. the flop is Qx 62. I bet. he raises. I 3bet. he calls. turn is a blank. i bet he raises and i call down to see the Q6 i think after that hand i was determined not to leave until I had $100,000 or $0 in my account. Guess which one number I left with!

I don't know how to multiquote so I'll answer it like this. Don't think it's ever come up.

If poker was banned by whoever is president in 2016 (when you are 33) and you have to stay in America, what would you do for a living?

ideally by 2016 I would have found something better to do where I wouldn't have to rely on poker for the monies. I honestly don't know what I would do if I suddenly were not allowed to play poker. I heard getting teaching credentials was relatively easy and teaching always kinda interested me, though I don't know if I could deal with the daily grind and I don't even know if I like kids or not! I remember back in the day it was fashionable for young'ns to drop out of school for poker. I always thought that was a bad idea because who knows about the future of poker and if all you do is play poker and have no degree you're pretty much screwed with no work experience, minimal education, no connections or references, and unqualified to do anything. as it is i'm unqualified to do anything because my degree is more or less useless.

Do you use your watch's second hand or your 2+2 post count to randomize button clicking online?
people think i'm joking but i do randomly click buttons sometimes just to see if i can get away with it. and it more or less looks exactly like how i play anyways!

Do you care if you are well known in poker circles or do you just want all the monies?
it's kind of weird. i don't want the fame but everybody wants the respect. everybody wants to be recognized for being good at what they do. to be honest, outside my small circle of poker friends, i have no idea if anybody in the poker world even knows of my existence or what they think of me or how i play.

Would you rather win a bracelet or punch Phil Hellmuth in the mouth?

i don't hate PH as much as some. if anything he's so hate-able these days that I'd rather root for him than against him just to go against the grain! i always thought it'd be cool to try to get a bracelet but just thinking about tournaments makes my head spin and my stomach tighten up. it's such a painful ordeal, i don't know how these guys do it.

If I call, is it all ovah baby?

i have no idea what you are referencing though i assume it must be racist in nature and i take offense!

If we wanted to take each others rolls, shouldn't we just have stayed home?
incidentally i do enjoy playing against good players (at least at small to moderate stakes). i used to get a guilty pleasure out of playing in a game with an obviously competent player where we are unknown to each other and by the end of the night him thinking i was also a good player.
that was a pain, how do i multi-quote?

there was once a theory that me and howmany were actually the same person since for the longest time were never in the same place at the same time and both being reluctant to actually meet each other. (i am by nature pretty shy). but yes, we have eaten dinner together. it was noodles at the bellagio, i believe.

I can certainly understand how that "theory" may have arisen. Few/no caps at begininng of sentences, a minor proclivity to use run-ons, no flaming and animal play.

A couple more questions, if you don't mind.

Who's the toughest 2p2er you've played LHE against? (cash games)

Did HOWMANY enjoy himself at dinner?

I guess for the most part that's poker on a level I don't understand. I did play hands similar to the 77/86c hands the other day - it felt good to say **** you vs. a reg. who vbets light on the end.

So you are giftNtheCurse? Wow, didn't know that. I've lost alot of money to you since i always felt the need to tilt my money off to you. I guess i could make that statement to almost every player online. Just more money to you since i've played pretty high with you a few times. Do you remember the time you told me you were gonna punch me in the face? Where would you rank on my top 10 lists?
