7-handed 20-40

Villain is okay. He has the typical leak of cold calling too much. He also hates me this session because I've won a bunch of hands against him including (99 > 64 on 643 flop) and (A3 > A5 on AAx flop) where I have extracted the maximum. He hasn't 3 bet me yet in about two hours. I have a very aggressive image.

I raise QQ UTG and he 3 bets UTG+2. Folds to me and I call.

Flop is ALL of the kings available.

I check/call.

Turn is 4r

I c/r and he insta three bets

More action now? More action later? No more action?

hmmm. interesting.

From just the pyschological standpoint, if hes really hating you and tilting at all, he might be looking for a reason to bitch about getting unlucky. Like if he had tens or jacks he might kinda pause for a second and express some anger towards you. So the insta raise is him wanting you think hes tilted when he actually has it. Plus, him 3 betting you just this one time in 2 hours makes his range stronger. So I think I might just call and chk call the river and not be shocked to see aces. I want to say bet fold at some point but thats probably crazy and Id never fold this anyway

I kinda like just calling down but if I'm feeling feisty I might c/r/f river if you don't think he's going to check back 55-88 or something.

Why do you emphasize 'ALL'? did a K flash? are you playing some weird variant with 4 card flops? In that case, your QQ is counterfeited.. unless in this weird variant you must also use 2 hole cards.

Is there a 4 bet cap?

I don't see why you'd do anything other than call down.

Based on your read I think you should probably fold to the 3, and shouldn't have xr the turn to begin with, xring the flop seems better, by the turn though its way ahead way behind and the only card that might change things on the river is an a

It sounds like he shouldn't really have any bluffs here, so call down only if he routinely overplays medium pairs

IMO, pretty standard-ish calldown here. The most feisty I'm likely to get is to call here and lead/call river.

Guessing you called the 3!, river went check-check and he showed you 99?

Are you crazy? You realize I have kings full of queens, right? I lose to aa, ak, and maybe kq

Not xr'ing at any point of this hand is an astronomical nitroll and I'd be shocked if I bet jacks three times and wasn't good

Edit: let's think of combos. I'm never folding 88+ unless an A, K, maybe Q peels off, and I'm betting the turn with all of my boats, so that's 24 combos of hands that can call. AA, AK, KQ is 9 combos. It's pretty much correct to xr against anyone that isn't a super nut who would check back tens.
