Interesting. Never knew there is a betting limit in Colorado. Does this apply to other games like blackjack and baccarat as well?

max bet laws are one of the few driving forces keeping limit games in existence

+1 and very unlikely to change based on things I have read. lawmakers want to keep the Colorado casinos as niche mountain towns and not a Vegas style gambling destination. The $100 max bet law makes it very unique situation for mid stakes limit games.

After about eight hours I know two things about Coloradians: they don't like to play blind battles and least half of them can't stack chips

You figure out the game starting times so you don't have to worry about getting shut out?

+1. In the 30 game, it isn't rake. It is dropped with the first call or raise, pf. In Vegas they'd make the pot 5+ BB before they took the full rake.

Also I know it's different in Vegas where you can take an hour and a half dinner break but people here get very worked up about people being away from the table too long

Flop A63r check bet call call

Turn 5 SB check BB bets BTN calls SB x/r BB 3! BTN calls SB 4! They call

River 7 SB bets BB folds (lol) BTN raises SB rage calls. BTN shows J4o for the kill shot, SB rage mucks AA.

Vegas 40 is fun.

Standard and yet also expert. Playing 1/2 once at commerce a guy left his phone at the table. It rang 3-4 times and finally a dude picked it up and said he was taking a dump. There are a few lessons here.
