Originally planned WSOP trip pushed back to last week of June..... I'm looking at Bravo list, astonished at the number of tables open for 20/40/80..... What is the play like during WSOP with so many players in town.... Who has or is there playing.
Its going to be fun mixing it up with some new players...

Can't get over how many tables are running every night..... No way there are that many nits in one place. Fasten ur seat belts Bellagio limit game, ole loves to cap ALL the time will soon be jambing chips at a table near you; relentlessly ....lolololol

I played the 40/80 last night for the first time in his trip (mostly 40/80 O8 so far) and it was ridiculously soft. Only one guy at my table played well, a few were okay, and there was 3-4 fish at all times. I played 10/20 while waiting for a seat and it was the comete opposite, supernitty

LOL @ Puckster, I am a 5'10" 165lb hockey player and would square off just for fun, LOVE the sport!

As for the game, just got back and will echo what others have said, the 10/20 game is really rough right now but the 40/80 seems to be a bit softer than I expected (significantly softer than the 10/20, dont know why) and definitely softer than the 40/80 that has recently started at my local casino. Play tight, premium hands and you will definitely get paid... I am considering a trip back in the coming couple weeks just for that game.

I played the 10-20 three times this month, and four times in the last month and it was really soft every time. I would play it more often but it's a hassle sometimes to get into a game.

There are a couple of regulars that can seem kind of nitty at times, and even they've surprised me by making some horrible plays. And even those guys will play too many weak hands. They will give less action than most players, but they still play pretty badly.

Those regulars in the 10-20 are mainly donors. That is an awesome game, according to my wallet record and the 20-40 can be extremely good as well, but sometimes prone to attracting too much talent. I did a lot of hours in a week recently and will be doing a lot more this fall once the Vegas temperature drops below "welding." Love the Bravo poker app. Saved me a lot of time not wasted in the sports book losing on the nags while waiting for a seat.

I think this is quite accurate.

Also, for anyone interested in starting to play some limit hold 'em, this should be an excellent game to get your feet wet.

It seems that most of the regs post "in between". By doing this you save the cost of the SB, at the expense of not getting the button. Seems to be a better play compared to posting behind, I could see the argument for simply posting the BB as well

Did you play at all Saturday or Monday? I was playing the 20 those days. Very loose game. Plenty of wide and loose opens /three betting. Lots of cold calling. Many spewy players slam hammering any draw and then checking behind turn. Lots of wide, bad call downs.

i played Tuesday & Wed night............... I'm amazed that the smoke is so thick in room. People smoking in packs right next to all the open dividers..... got sick and had to leave early. Shocked that this room does not have a glass divider from the smoking; can't get over how smokey the room is.......GROSS. I'm planning on writing to both the room manager, the hotel manager, and anyone else I can access when I return home.

I've had the same problem at B this month with the smoke. It never seemed this bad before. I've been in town for a month and had planned to be at B almost every day, but after 2 days of smoke I haven't been back.
