Re: August Low-Content Thread

You need the fastest bass boat so you can fish longer before weigh-in. It is just cool to have the fastest bass boat. Also, you become a higher stakes player for your tournament fishing forum friends.

Watching the Colts/Steelers exhibition game, I can only think of the old saying, "Expert players are at war with Luck."

Some consider NASCAR a sport.

Hunting and fishing are often referred to as a "sports". I'm not sure why. They don't keep score between different "sportsmen" to see who killed the most animals. And I don't see much competition between the animals and the hunters. There is the game of "you try to hide/fly/run/swim/whatever and I'll try to kill you", but it seems awfully one sided for it to be considered a sport.
Yeah none of those are sports either.

Nope got a new one now. 6 handed game UTG opens I 3 bet black kings fish takes 3 to the face. Flop comes 644 two spades. 5 bets go in with fish calling all in for 2.5. Turn king. 4 bets. River Ts. 3 bets. I lose to flopped quads of course.

Maybe this good player is not this good really and he is "afraid" of Wacky and by taking position on him he (mistakenly) thinks his spot is more profitable now. Another consideration may be the fact that Wacky does not chop, which is super rare at Oceans unlike Bay and Commerce.

Re: August Low-Content Thread

Anyone here have tips for playing 6+ way capped pre pots where players are limp wrapping hands as weak as T3s? I can't tell if I'm just running bad or if there's some magic that I'm missing
