Sean you should take imightbealittlebitter on twitter and just post your random musings for the world. They deserve more.

You have enough money to bang still-thin 39 year olds.

This is awesome. Hooking up with high school crushes that you were too much of a pussy to ask out, is one of my fondest memories ever.

At this point, the reunion organizer has failed miserably and it seems like only 20 people are aware/going to it. So that may kill it. But considering it's only like 10 min. from my house and I'm not fat/balding/homeless (and still look like I'm 23), I really have no excuse.

If I was gonna pay money to bang somebody, why would I spend it on a 39 year old?

(I'd be lookin' for a middle aged girl about 22.)

My best friend from high school (we are still great friends, 30 years later) was a year behind me, so he wouldn't be at a reunion, if I were to go.

High school = the awkward years. It wasn't exactly that I didn't like anyone, but I just didn't quite fit in to any of the cliques. I played sports, but wasn't quite as cool as the total jocks. I was in all the honors classes, but the other nerds were really nerdy. I also would chat with the weird kids who didn't fit into any category. High school was meh - I was so happy to graduate and move on.

I did meet a few classmates almost 10 years later. One of my sort-of friends turned out to be a real jerk and mostly bald at 26 - I wondered if those 2 facts were related. The super jock who I didn't like when we were in high school because he was so arrogant actually turned out to be a really nice guy. You just never know.

I was just disproving the notion you would be celibate. By how much and by whom in particular was beyond the contours of my assignment, as it were.

Re: August Low-Content Thread

I'm pretty certain everyone who got fat started getting fat by about 25, and certainly no later than 30... e.g. pretty much exactly when the school mandated exercise and "still growing" metabolism are gone (excepting those with medical issues obvies).

All the nerds, dorks, and pudgy girls I was friends with turned out to be the in-shape hot ones going forward. Go figure.

I'm in my 30s now and not fat yet, though I am trying to take preemptive measures this month. And stop eating fries and ****.

Re: August Low-Content Thread

Jesus ******* christ. Am I the only one here who enjoyed high school? Yea, everyone was mostly an idiot, but everyone was like 17 years old. I mean compare the 17-18 year old you with the you now - you would slap that kid silly.

Re: August Low-Content Thread

I had an okay time in high school. Doesn't mean I need to re-live it 15+ years later.

Re: August Low-Content Thread

I understand what you mean PJ: bedding high school crushes 12 years later, not 15.

Haha well you know what I mean. Going to a reunion is so different from one-on-one time, whether it be a close friend or a cute girl. The latter is normal human behavior, the former is recreating dynamics from a lifetime ago (and ten years does feel like a lifetime between age 17 and 27) and trying to form artificial bonds through vapid small talk or foggy memories.

High school should stay in the past, even if individuals you met there become a part of your life forever.
