Re: April Low-Content Thread
I have As-Ks against three opponents on a board of Ad-5c-4d--Tc-Td. I hate that second ten on the river which also makes a possible diamond flush.
My opponents had 5-4, A-5 and A-4. The card I hated catapulted me from last place to first, counterfeiting all three of them.

Howard, I'm shocked! You honestly didn't think I'd invite you to dinner and expect you to pay for your meal? Tell me it ain't so.

I trust you'll make good on our rendezvous. Howard, would you be good enough to select an eatery commensurate with the LHE talents of these gentlemen?
I'll PM tomorrow when I get in.

Do we know yet what night we are going out? I am busy Tuesday night, but that can be switched to Monday night as long as I know by Sunday!

Re: April Low-Content Thread
Sorry, doc, my bad. It's just that the list of invitees grew pretty long. But ok, I'm hungry already!
If I was you I would make me eat at the Pink Pony for revenge.
How about Don and Charlie's? Very popular and a favorite w/ the Major Leaguers during spring training.

Wynn and Mirage...maybe.
Mirage $10-20 LHE is fluffy soft. The $20-40 in my experience has a couple super aggressive players.
Wynn....I forget what they have exactly, but the games in general are tougher than Bellagio's. Also the Bellagio games seem to last longer in the evening(like all the way to morning). I dont quite understand why very good players seem so attracted to Wynn as the games at Bellagio are much easier.

I knew I could depend on you, Howard. That Don and Charlie's looks good to me. I hope the other chaps approve.
The only problem with the Pink Pony is that I've have to eat there again.
DC, pope, SS: are we all good? Ya'll pick the night. I'm good with anything 'cept tomorrow night.

wynn has 10/20 with a half kill more than half the time. once in a blue moon there will be 20. if the moon is purple then they'll have a 4 handed 40.

Andy:
This never happens for me. Anytime my opponents foolishly cc pf and hit the flop when I'm reverse dominated, I lose. To make matters worse, most times I turn or river an ace.
Do I need to come to Commerce to rid myself of this awful scourge?

One day I open-raised with Q-Q twice, was called by both the small and big blinds twice (four different people), the flop came J-J-x twice, and both blinds had Q-J twice.

So, there's no respite for the wicked. Not even at Commerce.

Re: April Low-Content Thread
just finished a 20-40 session. interesting event happened.
i have AQ and 3 bet a CO raiser from the SB. i bet the whole way and on the river the board is 66554. i check he checks. I say "Are we chopping it?" as I show AQ, he says "yeah we chop it" and then mucks. theres a small bit of laughter and the dealer shoves me the pot. the guy now goes crazy, saying he had an ace also, and said that i agreed to chop it. he turbo mucked, so theres nothing to do. Yay!
then about 5 hands later, 7 people see the flop. 976 with 2 clubs. The angry guy check raises the whole field, and 4 players see the turn. turn 4 checked through. river 2 checked through. Seat 5 (a really overly tricky armenian dude who might have been angle shooting) says "straight" and shows A5. Once again angry dude turbo mucks while saying "yeah thats a straight." Then after 5 seconds we look and see its not a straight, and seat 5 did look generally surprised. no one can beat it, except for the angry dude who said he mucked A8 clubs.
Whoops

Re: April Low-Content Thread
I wish another 2+2er would come play poker at diamond lil's. The freaking fish keep winning racks upon racks and I need someone to share my pain. **** the fish's chipstack to my right is getting so big that a big gap is starting to form so his underarms are spead wide open. ****ing stinks.
