All this talk all seems a bit black and white. If we always b/f the river, we invite shots. If we always b/c the river, we invite value extraction. If we often b/c the river, we discourage shots, but save some value on the times we feel even better about folding.

We don't always have a king and a nine in this spot.

There are two ways to disguise your actions so your opponent can't tell what you have. Either you play the same hand different ways in the same situation or you play different hands the same way in the same situation.

In this situation, our hand is disguised because we are going to play different hands the same way, so we do not need to also play the same hand in different ways.

Exactly. Sometimes you're going to have the nuts here, sometimes you're going to have a value hand that beats enough of Villain's value hands to make a bet. I don't think you need to worry about taking different actions in this spot with the K9 (to avoid getting exploited), because the variety of hands you'll turn up will in itself prevent you taking the same action 100% of the time. In this spot, *I think* as long as we're showing down with SOME hands besides just straights, I think we're OK. The more important question is: is showing down with just straights enough or do we need to show down with worse hands, and if so, how much worse?

Bet/call riv. the T is a blank not sure why people are afraid of it. If I were in villian spot I would def raise AK if i ever play it this way but i doubt i would raise the turn with it. so pp A would be tempted turn into bluff since it would be the bottom of my range. You guys need to be careful of trying to make exploitative play even though I think live it is good but going overboard when the pot is big is silly.
