villian is a 30s dumb white guy. loose passive overall. He's a very weak player in terms of skill. He plays a lot of hands. He open limps late and cold calls too much. He always raises flop with tp and draws. It's unclear at this point if he waits until the turn to raise with big made hands like most villians (i'll watch for that next time). I've also seen him freecard the turn.
My image is extreme solid tag afaik.

villian opens in LJ and it's folded to me. I 3!, bb folds and he just calls.
HU flop 7sb: KcJc5c - I bet and he raises. I call. (like I said he could have the lone Ac and be raising me here or he can have a J or a K - he could have a made flush but again I have the 9c so I felt it was somewhat unlikely. I considered calling and not folding because of my 9c. I might've been really tempted to fold had I had red nines here instead. I was also curious if he would free card me.
HU turn 5.5bb: 6d - I check call. (does the fact that he didn't free card indicate a "real" hand - not a draw?)
HU river 7.5bb: 4h - I check, he bets, hero? (His bet seemed confident to me but I wasn't sure given my image if this was a "value" bet although I thought if he did have ace high he might try to bet to fold out my pp.)
Loose-dumb-passive-white-guys who are very-weak-in-terms-of-skills don't value bet A high on the river.
I think I'm giving up this hand on the flop when raised. If not, I'm definitely folding the turn and waiting for a better spot to ISO this player--you're obv going to get his money eventually, so just pick better a spot, IMO. And I think you already know that when he bet out on the turn, he told you he was way ahead, esp given the betting patterns you noticed from previous hands he played.
I'm guessing he showed A-K or K-Q and you felt like you had spewed and gotten stubborn in the hand?

now that you are at the river, remember this and call.
Folding flop and waiting for a better spot may be a better idea.
Agreed@ give up
If he is basically giving it away in most spots and you see this many signs of strength I fold. You make the most by playing strong ABC vs these players. No need to out level yourself.
