Switching to Ipoker Skin

What kind of rake back deal would make switching to Ipoker from Pokerstars worth it?

Hi Bgrind09,

This is a bit of a tough question to answer.

Does game softness matter? What games do you play?

Once people can view this information, we might have a starting point on our hands.

Thx Chris,

Game softness does matter of course. I've just heard that Ipoker's rake is much higher than Pokerstars' and was just wonder what % rake back deal would make switching worthwhile. I only play .25nl and am a Silverstar, but I have attained all of my reachable yearly milestone credits at Stars and was wondering if a flat RB deal would be better.

It's tough to base a decision like this solely on which network you end up paying less rake at (after considering rakeback and vip programs). I think you should also take into consideration the traffic and games offered on iPoker. You might find that Stars runs some games that don't really seem to run that often on iPoker and vice versa (haha not really).

There are lots of threads out there that break down rake at each site. Good luck with your decision.

Re: Switching to Ipoker Skin

you will probly make 2 time the money winnings plus 50-60 % rakeback at 25NL called 20NL at ipoker but they have in euro and pounds ( and dollers).

unless u beat start bbhands 10 and u beat ipoker bbhands 1 then u dont

lets say u have bbhands 5 bonth sites

then the ipoker deal will be 2 times the money

about this

I've just heard that Ipoker's rake is much higher than Pokerstars'

i tryed to play 10k hands at all networks the rake are more or less the same no matter what they call the system.( just not enet everleaf , maybe some other stupid italien networks take more )

poker star have the best software , best safty , most nits.
playing under 200NL at stars , is stupid if u wanna make money playing poker

stars have a brilliant system for trapping players into grinding alot , and never get any real cashback/rakeback or what they call it

Now you're much closer to being able to get a good answer - your OP told us very little. I'm not sure if it's still accurate, but fpppro used to be a good site for calculating Stars RB % equivalent. Keep in mind that with most sites using contributed rewards systems (rather than dealt), the answer isn't exactly the same for everyone.

Re: Switching to Ipoker Skin

I am looking to try ipoker for the first time, I have been researching rather unsuccessfully for about an hour. I cannot find if the VIP systems across the network are the same in value or not? thus making me take the higher deposit bonus for example at Wiliam Hill ($2k) Vs PAddy power ($600). Not sure if it matters but i would be playing 1/2NL.

Basically, which site has better rakeback on ipoker?

on a small side note have you guys heard if the new speedpoker will ever have higher stakes than 100nl?

Re: Switching to Ipoker Skin

Does anyone know if you can get 'dealt' rakeback for Ipoker? (I.e. with cash back rather than a bonus rewards system). Further, is it possible to get rakeback for an existing account on Ipoker?

Thanks

I think BetMost Poker has the best VIP program.

Re: Switching to Ipoker Skin

Each site has their own version of the VIP system so it does pay to shop around.

Personally I get equal to about 55% back from my play on a huge sportsbetting site and I only play NL10.

iPoker use contributed rake method and do not do 'rakeback' but the VIP systems are similar anyway, if you pick the right one.

Re: Switching to Ipoker Skin

It is impossible to get a rakeback or VIP deal that uses a rake method of the user's choice unfortunately.

Everyone is stuck with the network rake method. In iPoker's case this is weighted contributed.
