Sportsbook Poker Bonus Program

Sportsbook does not offer rakeback per se, however they do have a bonus program that allows players to redeem VIP point for cash once each month. It seems pretty good to me...probably not nearly as good as say 35% straight rakeback. But what do you guys think of it? Decent?

Sportsbook is on Merge.

Sportsbook is owned by Jazette.

Jazette has a D- rating at sportsbookreview.

Their VIP program is one of/if not the weakest on Merge.

No, it's not nearly as good as 35% RB.

What game(s) do you play and what stakes?

Re: Sportsbook Poker Bonus Program

Sportsbook/PlayersOnly is also one of the only (perhaps the only) Merge skins to block some of the higher stakes heads up sit and go buyin levels from their own players.

Several players I know left them to move to another skin when this happened. I wouldn't recommend either of those skins on Merge.

Carbon has a sponsored forum here, and skins like Hero, Black Chip and several others have threads on 2p2 as well, so I'd advise checking those out as they should all be superior options to SB.

Your volume and buyin level is relevant only in choosing VIP versus rakeback, but no matter what you rake and play, you should choose another skin outside of SB for the reasons mentioned previously in this thread + stake level blocking. SB is one of those skins that (unsurprisingly given their name) runs their business like a sportsbook that happens to have poker games, whereas many other merge skins run their skins like poker rooms. There is a huge difference (think PokerStars versus Ongame, the former being a poker room, the latter being a casino that offers some poker too).
