Don't think they will go under,if they have some brain power. If they were short on $$ they shoulda just found an investor, think it should be pretty easy with their rep/size before all this.

re: Rakeupdate/Rakereduction Closed August 8th, Players Remain Unpaid

this is a email I got back from support today.

fwiw, I have dealt with Randy a great deal. He was always very helpful to me, and IMO a very good dude. I think it was very unprofessional for RU to bash him, but at the same time I also think rakeupdate will be just fine. I wish Randy luck in the future, and I hope RU gets back online soon.

Currently, Daniel is working with Engineers to ensure RakeUpdate/RakeReduction execute reliable software.
Our company will not enter into another software agreement where we are depending on another company to provide service.
We will own the software which will be used for player access to their accounts.

Know that we have a solution in the works and are currently ensuring it meets the needs of our company and players.
Thank you for your patience.

We are not going down and all payouts will be processed as soon as we get the new software up and running.

Please bare with us while site is being down, everything will be back to normal soon.

Hmmm.... How is this possible, even when the software was up and running. You only gave us these choices:

Moneybookers - Not available for USA customers
Carbon - Not accepting new signups
Cake - Shady
Full Tilt - No longer operating.

When do you expect the new site to be up and running?

You deserve that screen name if you're that easily appeased!?!?!?!

lol Seriously though...............

Why does it take two weeks to get even a temporary site open?
Why are there so few payount options almost all of which are not usable and will there be more?
Why did Neteller drop RU as a customer?
Are players money kept seperate from business operating expenditure?
Why was the Bodog r/b dropped to a flat 30% when many were on more?

Maybe because of idiots like you who keep bombarding them with all the questions...

Which of those questions is idiotic? I would suggest they're all pretty fundamental and the proof of the pudding will be if thet get an answer. They won't - because I've been asking them for months.

Time will tell as to how badly they are in trouble.

Not quite. This isn't Bodog and is often misunderstood. I have an agreement for 32% rakeback with RU. This is 32% of The Bodog calculated MGR calculated with their new weighted system - more for losers less for winners etc. I should still get 32% of this lesser Bodog MGR. I don't. Since the changeover to the new site RU dropped it to 30% and along with my other questions have never answered why.

The personal attacks need to go. This is an important thread for a lot of people. If you cannot be mature then do not post. Snapplehead, this means you. I probably have not banned anyone in over a year. Please don't make me.

Because designing software takes time, especially when u have to do it unexpectadly, with no time to plan. If the man is not lying and they are really trying to save the company, i can imagine 2 or 3 coders working on it 24/7 for the last two weeks. A temporary site is dangerous because it probably wouldnt have top notch security, and poor functionality might miss procedures that would keep the database consistent when something gets changed in it.

HI RR,

I strongly suggest you to proceed cash out request that has been made before you lost your software provider.

Your database is intact as you said. You have the cash outs request information. Moneybookers, cake, and merge are not shut down.

It is just a suggestion to keep people in good faith.

OK I am not technical so can give this credibility if accurate, but I would have thought they would at least direct customers to an under constsruction type web page rather than still to the site they say have dropped them with no notice.
