Just rec'd another email from Victoria, a better explanation but still nowhere to verify anything. She is still looking into it. Gotta love the honor system! I'll wait to hear from her again, thanks.

I cannot locate ANYWHERE where this is documented. I do see Rake and Rakeback Earned, but no history of anything else. Can this be cleared up after 4 months?

We are already addressing this in our forum where you have already posted it and alerted BCP to it, so no need to post twice

We have asked BCP to look in to your account. Meanwhile you do recall that Merge stopped offering rakeback to new players in June 2011 and you are on their VIP program which was a minimum of 35%? VIP payments are payable once a month. And the deal to get that was that you were not to spend the points and they would be cashed in for you.

Now (without having heard back from BCP yet for time zone reasons) 416 points is $41.6 in rake and 35% is $14.56 or $15.00 rounded

But that should be in cash and not a bonus that you have to clear.
Do/Did you have to clear it before being able to withdraw?

Apologies for x-posting this. I did post in the forum after waiting a few weeks for a reply, then later came here and posted since 2p2 has more traffic and thought someone else could explain what was happening.

My first email was weeks ago and the response was, we would get back to you in 24 hours with an answer, which didn't occur. Apparently Victoria was contacting BCP. Weeks later I again sent a message to which the 24 hr canned response was made. Then I rec'd the "Bonus" answer which still did not rectify my original concerns about being able to track payments, if they were being made.

The "honor system" was a jaded reference to me not being able to utilize BCP's cash history page, nor my RTR account page to verify payments or "bonuses" being applied. Am I simply to trust what RTR and BCP does with no verification of any transactions? The $15 bonus was credited to my account, and not played off, with the sole verification of noticing an increase in my cash balance on the poker client and nothing else. There was neither an explanation, or accounting of the bonus either on BCP or RTR pages which led me to scratch my head and wonder what business practice this mirrors.

After a few months I decided it was time to begin investigating this and was allowed to be in the dark for weeks.

Thanks for the explanation EN

I will also begin an investigation as why it has taken weeks/months to solve this, as it should have been done in hours. I will also ask BCP to let you know if there is a trail within their system to see your exchange of points for cash.

Just created my Stan James account. Can I wait for you to verify it before making a deposit?

Also, the account is in $, Im sure I chose currency as £, can this be changed now, or is $ for everyone?

Hi EN09,

I've checked your account. Indeed a bonus was paid on the first of this month, at which time we sent an email to you advising that the bonus was paid - you should also have received a "pop-up" in the poker client advising the bonus was paid. This is the same way it will be done on the first day of each month, providing you play the month prior - no playthrough is required on these bonuses.

You can view this bonus in your history. Just visit the "Player Admin" (click the link at the bottom of the poker client) and then proceed to the "Ledger History" it's located here (login required ofc) and select the date January 1, 2012 and you will see the bonus which was added to your account.

If you require any more information please let me know.

Efficient as usual rtr :-)

Regarding the sign up bonus, the welcome email from stan james, says $500... But its $1000, correct? So I should just deposit $1000, and email them when I've got 18000 points right?
