Rakemeback problems? Rakemeback problems?

07-13-2014 , 03:54 PM
Hi all,
First post so apologies if I am breaking any rules, etiquette etc.

I have been with rakemeback for 4 weeks, using full tilt. I cleared my bonus within 2 weeks. I have yet to get any rakeback even though I have been eligible for 2 complete weeks (bonus completed and silver and gold edge).

I have emailed rakemeback to receive only a standard reply.
Does anyone have experience positive or not with them?
I am thinking of leaving them and joining another rake back site and poker room, can you recommend any?

Thanks.

Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback anymore. "Rakeback sites" still promote it however.

Hi Scoobyjack,

Kahn is absolutely correct. No affiliates are "allowed" to offer rakeback on FTP and any who are must be doing so from their commission. If history is anything to go by, then these deals often do not last long due to the affiliate either being caught or not honouring the deal made with the player.

As you say I would recommend finding another deal or just use the Full Tilt VIP scheme which you are auto-enrolled for upon sign up.

Hope this was of help!

Chris

Are you sure they promised you extra rakeback?

Taking a look at their site, they appear to just calculate "max cash back + deposit bonus + site rakeback = total rakeback" for advertising purposes.

For example, PokerStars says up to 74%. Full Tilt says up to 65%, but includes "40% value deposit bonus." Once that goes away, you're down to 25% max.

You have to really calculate this stuff yourself when dealing with sites like this, it can be difficult to really understand the actual deal that you are getting, as their advertised deals often seem to be designed to just create the highest possible #, rather than the most realistic # (example: how many guys are going to have the max deposit bonus + max rewards at the same time in the first 180 days, to actually get 65% rakeback? And how long can that happen for? No more than 180 days... actually less, because you aren't top VIP level on day 1 of your deposit bonus, and it has to be cleared in 180 days...).

That's not to say that they are doing anything wrong, you just need to make sure you're a better informed customer (assuming they did not offer you something specific that said "you are getting x% rakeback directly from us in addition to regular benefits.")

I recently joined their William Hill 50%+ VIP deal and despite emailing them several times with questions over the last 3 weeks I haven't had one response and so far cannot see how the deal is anywhere near 50% rakeback. Anyone else here on their Will Hill deal? Why does support ignore emails? I usually use rake the rake and their support is superb, but recently switched because of this 50% deal.
