Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

The first place I ever heard of doing that was pokersource, a number of times. Never had to do it myself at either PSO or Savvy, but the request isn't unprecedented.

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

It's just very frustrating.

First all that was mention is you need to make 2250 points for 225 kickback and make Mb order.
Ok I made 5k points; account gets confirmed in 4 days or close to that. Now I make MB order and hoping to be done with this. Three days later I am asked to send my Id and address verification. Somewhat skeptical I sent it not knowing why they need it.
After 2-3 days I'm being asked to post a picture of me holding 2008 custom made sign.
I'm only wondering what next; video of me dancing with a sign.

I spent more time writing this post than it would take me to send the picture but I just can't comprehend how they are even asking me to do this. Just seems wrong. Or at least inform me that I’ll have to take a photo-shoot before receiving a kickback bonus.

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

Hey noImagination,

First off, I can't find a username "noImagination" in our database so I can't look up the specifics regarding why our Security team might be asking you to do this. If you want to email me directly with your username (tore@pokersavvy.com), I can look into it.

I totally understand that you would be frustrated by this as this is our highest level of security screening and can understandably be perceived as invasive. Without knowing the details of your order, I can only give you general reasons as to why we occasionally ask for this.
  • We unfortunately receive a lot of fraudulent traffic from certain geographic regions. If you reside in one of those regions and this is your first couple of sign ups with us, it is possible this is why you are being asked to send us the picture.
  • Your password and/or IP address is similar to another user. This of course could be a coincidence, but we take ever precaution we can.
  • There was a pattern with your ordering process that is either similar to another user, or suspicious in another way.

One way to think of this verification request is like going through security at the airport. Usually you just have to do the regular things they ask and then off you go. But occasionally your name is selected for a more elaborate screening. In the case of an airport screening it is typically random, where as at our site we have very specific "flags" that can trigger a stepped up investigation.

Again, I completely understand that it is an inconvenience. I can definitely assure you though that once the process is complete (and what you have been asked is the final step in any verification procedure we conduct), you will never be asked to provide these documents again.

Please email me directly if you have any more questions, and thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Best,

Tore

I doubt there's many bonuses more targeted by the unscrupulous than kickbacks. When you can sometimes effectively get over 100% RB in the short term, people will look to cheat the system and sign up multiple times for the same site.

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

I started one of the bonuses several weeks ago. However after some weeks there were no more updates anymore, I asked the support and they said the offer ended.
So I was not able to finish the bonus, because there was no information that the bonus will end. This happened to me the second time now, I asked the support if they would pay the savvy points party and they refused.
In effect pokersavvy basically took part of the money I was entitled to.

Seems like a good business: customer registeres via pokersavvy, savvy gets some kind of reward by the pokerroom, then they end the offer and savvy keeps the money which was promised to the customer.

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

Strepto0,

We're very sorry for the inconvenience this experience might have caused you, but your description of how PokerSavvy works with poker rooms is totally inaccurate.

We do not have rev share with poker rooms and we only get paid when you get paid. We did not get "part of the money you were entitled to", we got nothing.

You are unfortunately not "entitled" to anything, because you did not complete the requirements. Something you freely admit to.

I understand it is frustrating when kickback sites and poker rooms dissolve their partnerships prior to players getting a chance to finish the offer, but it is entirely commonplace and just part of the business.

At any rate, feel free to contact me at: tore@pokersavvy.com. I'll take a look at your account, where you were towards completing the requirements at whatever room it was, and if some compensation is warranted, I'll take care of you.

Best,
Tore

Tore,
thx for the explanation. Wish I received that response after my mail to support (got exact copy paste of same email than first time) and this post would never happen. Sent in what was asked and order was processed. I can understand the reasoning behind this request; still not happy about it.

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

Hello, my pokersavvy username is : BriMM

Have problems with Purple Lounge poker. Before I started to play there I contacted their support to confirm I'm beeing tracked by PokerSavvy. They did.

The requirements at Purple Lounge: Deposit at least $20 and generate $125 in rake.

I earned 206 Vip ponts - 103 euro in rake so cca 135 dollar rake. Stopped playing and clicked the 'bonus check' button last friday.

Yesterday I received an automatic email from PokerSavvy I'm not tracked by savvy at Purple Lounge and contact their customer support for further information. I did.

The email from Purple Lunge support:

Your account has been tracked via Pokersavvy and our affiliate manager has just confirmed your status in their side.
Since we moved to Entraction the requirements are different as below:

Pokersavvy
? 250 entraction points (?125 rake)

Kind regards,
Judit
Purple Lounge Support

Since than nothing happened. Purple Lounge has disappeared from MyPokerSavvy room list and PS support doesnt response any of my emails.

What is strange in the email from Purple Lounge is that support agent is speaking about '250 VIP points and 125 rake'. 250 VIP points are 125 euro in rake. I know they are calculating in euro but the PokerSavvy requirements were in dollars. And I met the requirements with 206 VIP points (cca 135 dollars in rake). You can check on their homepage

Purple Lounge-Deposit at least $20 and generate $125 in rake

So. Waiting for a clear response what is going on? Do I have to contact again with Purple Lounge poker in case of this situation? Any hope to get Purple Lounge back on my pokerrom list and receive the kickback from PokerSavvy?

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

BriMM,

This is simply not true.

We have responded to all of your emails so please do not create a 2+2 account (this is your one and only post) for the sole purpose of lying about our support department.

As we have stated in the emails we have sent you, we're working on this with the poker room.

Thank you for your patience,

Tore

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

And this is the only thing you see in this post and the most important - ps support doest response my email. It was true until I got a reply at night. But this is the less important in my post I guess.
What did I find in the response? Still nothing after 3days.
But the problem is with this Purple Lounge- PokerSavvy thing. Someone is not speaking the truth and that's not me at all. Purple Lounge confirmed in these days several times I'm beeing tracked by savvy and their affil manager contacted PokerSavvy in this case. PokerSavvy says they still don't find my name in the reports.
And what about the points and rake Purple Lounge sent me in email? They were different than on the Ps website.

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

Sir, I looked up the email records in our system, and you are lying. Plain and simple.

You emailed on 02.09.12, we responded on 02.09.12
You emailed on 02.13.12, we responded on 02.14.12
You emailed on 02.19.12, we responded on 02.20.12
You emailed on 02.21.12, we responded on 02.22.12
You emailed on 02.25.12, we responded on 02.27.12
You emailed on 02.28.12, we responded on 02.28.12
You emailed again, later on 02.28.12, we responded the next day on 02.29.12

I can forward you these emails, I can even post them here. Please refrain from lying about our efforts to help you. We are operating with professionalism, we expect you to do the same.

The first thing we needed to do was confirm your tracking. As we have stated in the multiple emails we have sent to you, your aliases were not appearing on the report. This is why we requested your customer ID as one last hope of finding you in their data. In addition to that, we have emailed their affiliate department to clear up your tracking. We're working on this.

Nothing can happen until we confirm you are tracked, and if you would allow us to resolve this issue first, we can then investigate the discrepancy in your rake vs. point total.

There has likely been a misunderstanding in regards to the deal terms and we will resolve it. Regardless, we are working on this.

Thank you for your patience,

Tore

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

I and my two brothers have been using Pokersavvy for quite awhile without any problems- we have been logging in the site from the same computer(yes, we only have one laptop). There is nothing in the rules against that- each of us has completed several kickbacks and received the points. Severall weeks ago, just after I have completed the everest poker kickback and waited for the points for one week, they CLOSE my account! I contacted them that I cant access my account. They said they closed mine and my brother's acc because we are the same person! I explained them the situation and even offered them to send IDs of me and my brothers BUT THEY IGNORED ME! How we can be the same person when each one of us has completed the Pokerstars kickback for example? Are you saying pokerstars wont notice and give the comission if there are 3 account with the same name and address?

So they owe me 90$ from the everest poker kickback and decided I am a fraud just after i completed the requirements and POKERSAVVY RECEIVED THE MONEY FROM EVEREST! I hope this issue can still be resolved- my username is/was "Bagger91" and I pray that will be activated again. If not resolved I strongly advice anyone to not do bussines with pokersavvy, there are other kickback opportinuties-for 3weeks I have completed 3 offers on other site. Pokersavvy, it could have been through you! But if you dont value your clients I can't do anything!

Cliff's notes:
1. Done everest bonus through pokersavvy. Pokersavvy received the money.
2. Pokersavvy closes mine and mine brothers accounts(each one of us has completed several bonuses through them before) saying we are the same person and dont give me the 90$ essentually SCAMMING ME!

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

GiveMeMyRake,

I looked over the security department's notes and there were multiple instances of multi account indicators.

Using the same computer is obviously not against the rules, but creating two accounts to complete bonuses multiple times is.

Regardless, please email me directly and I will review your case: tore@pokersavvy.com

Thank you,
Tore

Re: Pokersavvy problems - RESOLVED

Well, of course we will complete the same bonuses- they were the easiest maybe? I am just asking are you saying that POKERSTARS, the biggest name in the industry won't notice if there were three accounts of the same person??? And you Pokersavvy, are saying exactly that with no really hard evidence? I dont know what your evidence is- maybe that we used the same nickname "Danchomir" in several DIFFERENT rooms. But that's a family nickname if you want to know...
