Owed Eurosuperpoker (Ongame) rakeback from WebPokerSource

I signed up on Eurosuperpoker through a 2p2 advertiser and after raking over 5 figures, I have not received a single payment.

I played a ton in March (placed 1st in a rake race), then played in April until they announced they weren't running any more rake races. I stopped playing immediately after that.

The site has since been kicked off the Ongame network, but they eventually paid out all players in full. They are currently searching for a new partner site.

I never received rakeback payments for either month.

This is very significant money to me and no progress has been made after several dozen requests. The affiliate said he had done business with them for years that I nothing to worry about. I later find out that the skin was kicked off the Entraction network before moving to Ongame. The affiliate failed to mention this when I asked if there would be any concerns with the skin.

I've been patient, but it's certainly been long enough. This is a very significant amount of money to me.

I PM'ed moderator Bobo Fett before signing up and he confirmed him as a 2p2 sponsor. Euro Super Poker is clearly one of the sketchiest named sites, but I thought I would be safe with a 2p2 sponsor and the Ongame network.

If I was told the truth about the affiliate's relations and knowledge with the skin, I would never have made an account there.

Do I have any recourse whatsoever? Should I be reporting this to Ongame?

Please help

I'm in the same situation than you, except missing only 1 payment for about $500. I don't think contacting Ongame would really help, as there isn't any official/legit rakeback deals to Ongame.

What affiliate were you using? If you don't want to post it here could you PM me.

Re: Owed Eurosuperpoker (Ongame) rakeback from 2p2 sponsor

I was also in a similar position
i was owed for the 2 months that you are
i also signed up through the 2+2 sponsor in question as i think there is only 1 that did deals with this site

However i was very aware that the deal was 'under the table' as the ongame network did not allow for these deals to happen' However im not sure why 2+2 allowed one of there affialites to offer illegal ongame rakeback...

i recieved the money in full from eurosuperpoker eventually though i cant see why they have not paid you? although my payments that i were owed were around 3000 dollars.
I think that the affialite in question should give you the money if ESP wont.
I also think that due to this problem 2+2 should seriously look into the affialite in question

Surely any so called 'sponsored' or 'approved' affiliate offering illegal deals should be named?

There's no such thing as an "illegal" rakeback deal. Legal means laws, not violating rules or contracts. It's bad use of the English language. Call them UTT (under-the-table) deals, which is what they are.

And I don't get the people implying that UTT deals are bad either. Free markets FTW.

How are you proposing we would police this?

We have no sponsored or approved affiliates; these are terms that only posters have been using.

Re: Owed Eurosuperpoker (Ongame) rakeback from 2p2 sponsor

Sorry for any confusion... the affiliate is approved to advertise on 2+2, he has not been sponsored by 2+2.

I used the term sponsor because they paid money to 2+2 to promote their site, not that 2+2 had sponsored them in any way.

This is not 2+2's fault and I do not hold them responsible.

I made this thread hoping that somebody could help me get the $8,000+ that I am owed by this affiliate. If not, then at least I can make sure nobody else gets ripped off by this affiliate.

Through PM's, it seems that other players were paid rakeback from ESP. The affiliate told me in the past that he never received any payments from the site, which I can no longer believe.

I also signed up through an affiliate and was promised a good rakeback deal to be paid every month. I raked a similar amount to spec in between march and may and have not recieved one payment. The affiliate I signed up with has repeatedly reassured me that I have nothing to worry about and that the money is going to arrive soon. i have been told this for 4 months now though and still no sign of it.. am losing patience and faith that i will ever get paid! not really sure what options i have, if any to get this money back.

Under the table deals are not illegal... and I'm not sure why'd you want them to be named? That would kill some of the few legit (I mean legit as in not some random small one person affiliates) affiliates offering good deals and would just lead to people getting their deals from more shady (random new 2+2 accounts, no websites, no real contact info etc) affiliates and cause more problems.

FWIW many affiliates advertising here also offer under the table deals, at least for players who have used their deals in the past.

Yes, it is.

But tbh I'm not sure why everyone is saying they should pay it if ESP doesn't pay them. Everyone who took that deal probably knew it is under the table deal and that there are some risks (of not getting paid or losing your deal) involved with those.

(fwiw I also signed through the same affi and I am owed one payment of about $500)

Constant reassurance by the affiliate like this is of course awful as every affiliate knows that Euro Super Poker has had troubles in the past, is having them now and will have them in the future. It's an awful site where to play at.

One thing is flat out lieing to your player that money will come, other thing is being honest and saying to player that Euro Super Poker just hasn't paid us, they have screwed us over and we would like to move you to another room asap. Not many honest affiliates you can find these days unfortunately.

Re: Owed Eurosuperpoker (Ongame) rakeback from 2p2 sponsor

I've been told at least a dozen times that I had nothing to worry about and I'd get the money eventually ever since early April. I stopped playing there a few weeks later, but the affiliate kept sending me offers for other Ongame and iPoker skins.

I've had numerous under the table deals that from affiliates found on 2+2 before this and I've never run into any problems. Sometimes payments are delayed for up to a month, but I've always been paid in full eventually.

People are claiming that they've received payment for ESP rakeback in the past, but the affiliate told me they've never been paid since moving to Ongame.

I have chat logs from months ago where he's confirmed the amount that I've raked.

The affiliate business relies on trust and reputation, but it sounds like they're losing both.

Some people have been paid, true. I've heard myself that number of affiliates and players have been paid from ESP but there are also people who have been totally screwed over by ESP.

I can understand the affiliates frustration and the need to keep the player but you should not lie to your players. If it's bad news just let them know so they wouldn't lose even more money.

Simple
