Re: ** Official thread for RakebackPros discussion and RB for existing FT accounts

Has anyone successfully gotten RB if you were linked to another affiliate? All these success stories seem to be people without affiliates who got FTP to link them to an affiliate with rakeback.

Except for a couple of cases where support might have made a mistake, it is currently not possible to get RB if you are tagged to an affiliate which does not provide RB. Go play somewhere else, there is no other choice.

FTP/Rakebackpros-question

Hi!

So, I started playing poker a couple of months ago, and signed up with FTP with no rakeback-deal. Even though I don't rake a whole lot, it seems rakeback will make at least a little difference, so I mailed FTP-support who had rakebackpros send me a message saying I am now eligible for a signup with them.

This sounds good to me, but I was thinking I'd ask around here if there are anything I should know that I haven't thought about.

Should I spend my alredy generated FTP-points before I sign up? (spending these hurts MGR, right?), am I excluding myself from other rakeback-deals later? I'm from Europe, should I be playing at another site alltogether, and why? Can I sign up at others sites to clear deposit-bonuses etc.? Anything you can think would be greatly appreciated. I have tried to read up on this on the forum, but I find these things hard to understand fully, to be honest.

I'm thinking I'll sign up, because I like playing at FTP. Just thought I'd check with you guys first.

Hey Lars147

Spending your points now will make no difference as it looks like you are part of their program already, so any negatives you incur will be carried over.
By signing up with FT, you in NO WAY exclude yourself from any other rakeback deals at other sites. Being European means you have access to almost every poker site out there, so you can sign up with any offers to take advantage of their bonuses, races and rakeback.
To be honest the most important thing is to play somewhere that you like and where you win consistently. Rakeback and bonuses should be a secondary consideration. So basically you should feel free to sign up at a few sites to try them out and see where you are happiest. You might find it's at more than one room so you can move your action about.

Good luck going forward

Re: FTP/Rakebackpros-question

Thank a lot RakeTheRake!

To say that I'm winning consistently would be a stretch, but at least I'm not losing and I see improvents. I'll definately sign up then, as it doesnt exclude other options in the future.

Thanks for helping.

already linked to affiliate

so it seems like if you apply the first deposit promo code your considered to be linked to an affiliate on ftp

as i signe dup for fulltilt in november, on their website, done nothing but the original bonus, and i am linked to an affiliate that is not true unless they view themselves as an affiliate to their own site

pretty pathetic, i like full tilt, looks like ill be elsewhere once again

for those who added rakeback to their exsisting account did you do the original bonus, or what could be the issue?

both full tilt and rakeback pros said the same thing, but as i stated i signed up directly on fulltiltpoker.com, and am thoroughly confused as how im linked to an affiliate

Re: already linked to affiliate

You may have clicked on a link that directed you to FTP. If that's the case, you have an affiliate.

If you are referring to PokerStars, they do offer a rakeback equivalent with their VPP's where you can redeem points for cash. The percentages are roughly equal to the 27% rakeback at low limit stakes.

This information is so wrong. Please use the search function at the internet poker 2+2 forum for the real rates. I believe to achieve goldstar you are receicing around 17% RB equivalent.

Did anyone else not get their rakeback that was supposed to be paid this Friday? I didn't get mine and haven't gotten a response from an email I sent to support two days ago

Yes, or last Friday either! I've emailed twice, no response.
