When I started playing poker ages ago I signed up direct to 888, Titan & Full Tilt before I knew anything about rakeback amongst other affiliate sweeteners. Never really played the latter two and I've had enough of 888 for now (not least because it won't load up the cashier through anything other than IE - which blank screens in itself). So after wondering for various reasons about whether I want to play online or not I've decided to give PokerStars a go.

I've found out that:
* PokerStars doesn't do straight rakeback through affiliates
* The best deal on bonus seems to be their generic STARS600

But I'm wondering if there is any point at all in spending any more time finding a "marketing code". It seems that the marketing codes I've read of so far are all different strands of the same empty bs. I don't know what's trustworthy out there and I tend to trust nothing anyway. But I'll trust you guys!

So am I missing something out there? Should I just sign up direct and enter STARS600? Or is there a decent 'affiliate' site out there that at least opens up content/product discounts as a reward for signing up through their link/'marketing code'? (I'll be wanting some type of software shortly)
