In my impression, the only possible way one can get old-style 80% on iPoker under the current circumstances (which is more like 70% in half of the months and 90% in the other half than steady-eddy 80%) is placing very high in rake races. They're melting pots where the bottom players get less than average (there are even a few losing players who donate substantial amounts of SBR with no compensation) and the top players get all the cream.

Of course no affiliate/skin can offer 80% longterm on iPoker to each and every player.

I know a couple of (losing) SNG players who's sbr rake is like 55 pct of their original rake, what's up with that? I thought it would only get that low for winning players?

Hey Europa, do you mean SBR rake?

The new system is called RPV which is made up of 50% of the Original WC rake and 50% of the SBR rake. So it could be that the guys you know are on 50% + 27.5% = 77.5% of ORG?

Also, the new rake structure started in Feb 2105 but the actual but the data it relies on goes back about 2 years before that as we understand. So it would depend on how much they have deposited/withdrawn in that time also.

lol thanks, there was a misunderstanding then - the players (and I strongly suspect, someone at the skin, too) thought SBR already was the "final" rake number. The way you put it, all numbers make sense, thanks.

I should say also the 80% is with the sign up bonus. Should be getting about 60%- 65% without it

Ive been offered 60%SBR+10%reloadbonus (gross rake) once every month.

I´m a breakeven/slightly winning player.

Because of that Im aware that my rakeback will be at least 30% + 10% =40%

But how will my reload every month affect my rakeback in a period of 6 months or so?
Do you think I can expect 5, 15 ,25, % extra ?

The reload won't affect your RB%. The system counts how much you have lost pre-rakeback lifetime (if you're hit by a downswing), not how much you have actually deposited (deposited money doesn't count until it's wagered and turned into rake by you or players who win it from you) or how much bonus you've got.

And you forgot about the races, whose value is hard to estimate, but in general, the top few players get the highest return % from them (look the actual and previous month's leaderboards up to estimate the expected % because players come and go every month). That's quite logical because, the harder you grind, the less you're focused, the lower is the winrate and the bigger is the probability and expected amplitude of an initial downswing, generating additional SBR and thus more profit for the skin and affiliate.

this is ridiculous - there needs to be changes to it. I am on70% rb atm which is actually 35% plus around 2-6% of the new SBR rb. Is there sites with still flat rb on the old system greater than 40%?

Yes there are a few sites where players are getting about 50%+ each month based on the old rake calculation method

For example

35% flat rakeback (VIP Level Gold)

10-15% if your affiliate has an exclusive rake race
0-10% from other Betfair promotions

at Coral you can get

40% flat rakeback
27% from the £200 sign up bonus
10-15% if your affiliate has an exclusive rake race
0-10% from other Coral Promos

And at Winner/Betmost

40% flat rakeback
10-15% if your affiliate has an exclusive rake race
