Hi, I would like to start playing high volume in merge again. I had an account in carbon poker like 3 years ago. Is it possible to get a new deal for this site? Or do I have to go to another site?? Thanks in advance!

Merge does not allow rakeback in any way shape or form. Any affiliate caught giving rakeback is banned from the program and loses all their customers, so you won't find any reputable parties that will help in that regard.

Most other skins are now closed and the same thing applies.

With that said, the games are amazingly soft these days now that all the rakeback grinders are gone. Fish:Reg ratio is excellent

Hopefully they crank up the rake in order to further improve the fish:reg ratio.

On Highstakesdb, it says Merge gives 41% rewards. So this means no rakeback of any form? Can anyone that plays on Merge verify what "rewards" means more specifically and whether its worth playing on a different site with rakeback. I'm asking on the behalf of someone who is looking to play poker seriously (ring games), and not as a hobby. Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you.

fyi - I'm a U.S. resident

Some people out there believe that it would help. I don't want to post the link, but you can google the article that came out yesterday titled "Higher rake to improve poker economy?"

HSDB is approximately 2 years behind on updating their affiliate page if it says 41% rewards. There are NO VIP rewards on Merge. There has not been rakeback since January 2013 on Merge either. Whether it is worth it to you or not depends on whether you like to earn your money from rakeback and vip programs or from the soft games that exist without them. Merge has more or less copied Bovada's model of no player rewards and Bovada is the largest US friendly poker site.

Taken to it's natural conclusion there will be a lot of happy losers and few, if any, winning poker players remaining. I do understand the argument and agree with the principle in some circumstances. But the devil is in the details, something Merge management has ignored on many occasions.

Are any affiliate promotions allowed on the merge network? (rake race, merchandise giveaway, free training site membership, etc)

Yea im almost 100% sure that is allowed haha, just that no affiliate does it so there is no reason for anyone else to do it since there is no competition.

Former grinder here. I came here to see about rakeback and promotions on Carbon. I see there is no rakeback.

I know this is OT for thread but I don't suppose anyone knows if I can change decks to 4-color or anyway to see current traffic on the site? I've spent maybe 15 minutes going through menu options and settings, changing things to my preference but I just don't see anything about changing to 4-color deck.

Thanks
