Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
Have you not been banned from 2+2 Numerous times?
Why do you not have the Will Hill deal anymore? did they ban you as well?

2+2 are happy for me to advertise here and I'd like to thank them for all their help. They've really gone above and beyond.
iPokerVIP is still working with William Hill and the site is showcasing some new offers at the moment, although you will see William Hill & Betmost there in the future.

Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
Please make a new thread if you wish to discuss what is/isn't allowed on ipoker. We aren't going to have another trainwreck like the last thread.

OK, let's kick this thread off by clearing up a few things.
I have done an IP search and found 3 accounts associated with OP that were banned in the past. Two of them were for PM spam, and the other was either for spam or the user name, which was borderline for a non-advertiser. Unlike most spammers (and that term may be a little unfair as I don't even know how serious it was), OP has decided to move on and pay for advertising on 2+2. Obviously management has decided they are willing to work with him, so I think we should put that issue behind us.
As for offers, I can say that I have an email from Victor Chandler that was sent to 2+2 directly (IE OP didn't cut-and-paste or forward it) that states they are fine with his offer for their site. I've also been given an email address of Celeb Poker if I want to contact them about his offer there.
While PA and I don't plan to censor genuine problems or concerns just because OP is an advertiser, just as we wouldn't for any other advertiser here, we also don't want this thread to turn into a silly war of words. Jamie's here in a support role, so if you have questions to ask, problems to solve, or legitimate grievances to air, then fire away.

This isn't allowed anywhere else in the A/R forum, so it won't be allowed here either. You can PM OP yourself, or check out his website.

Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
Hi Jamie and Bobo.
I agree that the last thread did go a bit mad, to say the least, but I followed it out of morbid curiosity.
Bobo, you say you have had confirmation from Victor Chandler about the offer Jamie is advertising and Jamie, you say that you are going to be adding a deal with Winner Poker that involves VIP upgrades.
Can one or both of you please confirm for me that you have statements from the right people that these VIP Upgrades are allowed now.
It's just that I am getting conflicting information from other iPoker sites and it would be great to hear that someone has it 'in writing' that they are, in fact, allowed.
Thank you both in advance.

Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
Hey Nik,
Nothing in network policy stipulates that VIP upgrades are illegal. The longevity of my VC deal alongside Bobo & Mat's confirmation of proof demonstrates this.

I have obviously also encountered skins who do not wish to offer the upgrades but, this does not mean they're illegal.
As previously, mentioned VIP upgrades have been offered for a long time by some of the larger affiliates and nobody can offer proof from playtech concerning the legitimacy of their deals. As you know Playtech do not / are not meant to enter into discussion with affiliates. I'm sure if asked to confirm the legitimacy of the deals showcased on your site with regards to network policy you would struggle.
Your own site states the following:
Quote:
|
Guaranteed minimum VIP Level 4. Weekly payments not calculated on points accumulated. As we have ensured that players are always on minimum VIP level 4
|
I've forwarded an email from Winner Poker and like anyone else you can contact iPoker, VC and Celeb and discuss it with them. If the offers were illegal they wouldn't have been on my site for so long. I wish I could say the same of the offers you are PMing around 2+2 and the ones on your site.
Anyway live and let live.
Gd Luck
Jamie

Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
Hi Jamie.
I admit we have offered a deal on those lines, with the VIP ugrade, although we do not actually advertise it on our website, but that was really why I asked the question.
Depending on which site I ask the reply may be 'yes it's allowed', 'No, it's absolutely not allowed', or 'we think it's probably ok if you word it carefully'.
This is why I was interested to know whether either yourself or Bobo had received complete positive confirmation 'from the horses mouth' as I just can't seem to find the definitive answer on this confusing subject.
Thanks again.

Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
Who is the horses mouth exactly ? iPoker are aware of iPokerVIP and don't have a problem with it as shown by numerous skins eagerness to be a part of the site.
I've got statements from the skins I offer the deals from I don't get quite what else you want.
1. No piece of iPoker policy addresses VIP Upgrades.
2. iPoker are aware of iPokerVIP and the offers are still up
3. The head of VC Poker and others were happy to put their name to the offers.
You do offer VIP upgrades on your site (right on the homepage) and I'm not going to appease you by giving free advertising here or say any more on this topic. I am here to offer the players the best deals possible.
There is an iPoker summit tomorrow in Birmingham. I'm sure VIP upgrades will be discussed and next week my deals will still be up and the rooms will continue to support me.
Get over it man and spend your time serving your players instead of trying to deal with issues that are nothing to do with you. Legality and network policy have very little to do with either of us as affiliates.

Weren't we going to use a different thread to discuss ipoker policies?

Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
Gd shout imo. Although I find it frustrating its an interesting topic and we shouldn't blame each other but, iPoker for the lack of clarity and clear favouritism in their policy.
I'm not sure if I can setup threads on this account but, if one was setup I'd love to take part.

Re: iPokerVIP Support Thread
I would love a thread that could openly discuss it.
That is all I was trying to establish when I posted my comments. You seem to have taken it the wrong way by the tone of your replies.
Judging by some of the posts you have made, you seem to have a good relationship with personnel that seem more knowledgable and maybe more 'senior' than the usual affiliate managers that we deal with from day to day.
I was simply trying to establish whether you had received this elusive statement of whether it is categorically ok to offer the upgrades, not just from VC, but from iPoker as a whole, as I have been trying to establish it myself for a long time now and simply can't get a definitive answer. Mainly because I cannot find anyone who is in a position to actually state for sure what the rule is.
I apologise if my posts read differently but that is all I really wanted to know.
It certainly seems that iPoker has created the problem themselves by not stating publically what sites/affiliates can or can't offer.
Let's face it, this isn't some obscure ruling thing that doesn't arise except in rare circumstances. This is something that all players and affiliates fundamentally need to know as it can make the difference between whether a deal is 'legal' or not.
Come on iPoker. Just put an end to this uncertainty......

This way Jamie can keep this thread on topic and everyone can discuss the policies elsewhere.
