implications of rakeback when buying from ftp store implications of rakeback when buying from ftp store

ok, i'm ******ed. so that answers any questions of this dumb question.

ok, rakebackpros takes out .005 for every point i spend from the ftp store. supposedly, that .005 they take out comes from mgr? what the heck is mgr?

ok, so i buy something. now, does rakebackpros take that .005 out of my future rakeback? so in other words, i buy a plasma television and the next day when i hit the tables, i will recieve less rakeback?

i mean, if thats the case, if i save up a bunch of ftp points and buy a bunch of stuff and then quit poker, rakebackpros wont get anything, right?

also, do you think its more lucrative to buy bonus money with your iron man medals or buy ftp points and with those points, buy stuff and then sell it.....but then there comes that .005 vig if you go that route.

i'm just a squirrel tryin to get the biggest nut possible. any answers or suggestions would be great.

To answer your first question the .005/point is removed from your rake not your rakeback. For example you raked $100 and your only deductions were a store purchase of 10,000 points. 10,000 x $.005 = $50. Your MGR would be $100 (rake) - $50 (points spent) = $50 in MGR (Monthly Gross Revenue rake - deductions). Your rakeback would be $50 x .27= $13.50.

Now let's say you bought the 515,000 point plasma TV. Your rakeback deduction would be $2575. You would not receive any rakeback on the next $2575 of rake you generated no matter how long it takes for you to earn it. This would carryover forever at virtually all affiliates including Rakebackpros since they pay weekly.

Your last question is a toss up but there is a 3rd option. If you choose instead to buy the tournament tokens you will not have an MGR hit unless the tournament has any overlay. Then only the overlay is deducted. At least that has been my experience and what I have heard from others as well. Buying a bonus is going to have the same deduction a first deposit bonus would have (dollar for dollar from MGR) and the points you buy will be deducted as explained in the start of this post.

this stuff twists my brain in knots.....but i get the jist of it.......i think.

ok, so i was right about buying the plasama tv. if i buy it and never play again (which i wont), then i dont have to woory about the .005 juice because.......i'm never playing again and can care less about rakeback and anything else related to ftp. right?

ok, so if i buy bonus money, you said "dollar for dollar". so does that mean buying the bonus money is a complete waste? lets say i mormally play 1500 hands a day. if i do that, i earn about 35 dollars in rakeback per day. if i buy the bonus money and play my normal amount, will i still only get back 35 a day in rakeback or will i earn a little more?

its really starting to sound like there is more potential value in buying tourney tokens.......unless buying the bonus money makes me a little more per day.

Bonuses work the same way as store purchases; they are deducted from your MGR, not your RB. Therefore, you only lose 27% of the bonus. For example:

You generate $300 in rake, and clear $100 in bonus doing so. Normally you would receive $300 x 27% = $81. In this case, you receive $300 - $100 = $200 x 27% = $54, plus the $100 bonus for a total of $154. You have lost $27 in RB, but are way ahead of RB alone.

Correct but if you had rakeback from multiple rooms (impossible at Rakebackpros) your affiliate would likely roll this into any account that doesn't autopay you. This store purchase would also be deducted from the current period's rake so any play during that week or month would basically be voided unless it was more than the points bought.

It clears just as any other bonus. For example let's say you bought the $100 bonus and it took you $200 in rake to clear it. The formula would be $200 (rake) - $100 (bonus deduction) = $100 MGR x .27 = $27 in rake. You typically would have gotten $54 in rakeback on $200 MGR so you would make $127 here netting you an additional $73.

ahhhh, ok then. i shall stick with my game plan of buying the bonus money. i been grinding my ass off so i could buy the 300 dollar bonus. what i'm pissed about is i found out the other day that 1000 points on my iron man challenge gives me 5 bonus medals. i read there details and it never siad anything about that. so here i am grinding for a few months and getting a average of 700 points a day and earning 2 bonus medals when i could have grinded a little more and got 5 medals and build it faster. i was pretty upset about it. i even considered contacting ftp about that but i imagine it would be a waste of time.

also, i wonder if 1500 points will get me 9 bonus medals......and do you think i could get anything out of ftp if i complained about their details page only saying, "you can qualify for additional medals if you earn over 500 points in a day. it doesnt say anything about more medals for a thousand points. such bs!

oops, i just found the page where it says how many medals you can get for points per day. lol, why the hell didnt i see that before? never mind. this is pretty gay.
