How can I verify that I'm getting the right amount of RB?

Usually we just trust the poker room to be accurate about this, but right now I'm playing at a very small network which I don't completely trust tbh. A couple of months the daily report of my MGR would be pretty underestimated and they would suddenly correct it in the end of the month. But it got me thinking, how do I know that they are actually reporting everything with 100% accuracy?

I know that the rake tab in HEM can't help me, since the room actually uses the contributed RB method. How can I make sure they're not screwing me over?

Really if you;re playing Cash games, short of recording every hand etc, it would be difficult. Also if you are on OnGame then forget it altogether.

You could try playing tournaments only for a couple of days. The rake on those is fixed and you could track your rake easily by noting how much you pay in fees etc. Then compare that with your rake stats.

I hope that helps

Kind regards

Re: How can I verify that I'm getting the right amount of RB?

Thanks for the response! Yeah, that's a good idea, but what if they under-report my MGR even then? As I said, they do this on a daily basis sometimes, but then in the end of the month "correct" the MGR for all the days of the month. So, even if the MGR of the day is different from what I expected, I still can't be certain of anything.

You said that I could record every hand, which is obviously not practical, but isn't there a software that can do this? I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult.

Someone may know of some software that can take care of it.

The other EXTREME option is to play tournaments just for one month!!!
then there is no room for error....but also no cash games...
Unless you could play the cash games on another account or skin!

Good luck

Yep. And then they may decide to report correctly that one month because they know I can verify it, and then continue to screw me when I go back to cash

I am joking though

which network is it?

HEM is definitely capable of calculating the contributed method on for example iPoker.

Maybe ask the HEM support if they can add your room/network to the suported sites?

It's the Enet network and Everleaf.

Yeah, I'm surprised they haven't done this yet.

My HEM has been 99% accurate on every room/network so far.

HEM doesn't keep track of your MGR.

Re: How can I verify that I'm getting the right amount of RB?

I used several RB calculators and my daily RB seems really low. I play about 1000 hands a day at NL30 (the currency in the room is Euro). The currency in which I get my RB is in USD, however, so I will convert NL30 to be roughly NL40 in USD.

According to all RB calculators I tried, playing 1000 hands at something equivalent to NL40 should be giving me about $25 of RB a day at 33% RB. In reality, I am receiving about $13-14.

Am I missing something?

Rakeback calculators are notorious for overestimating expected RB.

Re: How can I verify that I'm getting the right amount of RB?

pt+hem support everleaf. pt supports enet.
but as bobo said, number through calculations are usually off somewhat, on every network.

if you signed up through an affiliate you could ask him as well since most affiliates get the numbers of their players.

HEM works fine with Everleaf. The rake displayed in HEM seems to be roughly right.

Anyone knows if HEM works with Enet?
