How Are Loyalty Points Calculated?

Every $1 of cash game rake generates around 10 Loyalty Points.
Every $1 in tourney fees generates 15 Loyalty Points.

you are saying for the 1st $1800 rake we generate we get back $1000 from the deposit bonus and rakeback on top? The deposit bonus in itself is 55%!

So if i can rake 375 a week, for almost 5 weeks of play, I will receive 95% Rakeback?

Thanks for noticing!

StanJames.com Poker players get the Deposit Bonus, plus the rakeback. So, whatever rake is required to meet the Deposit Bonus requirements, also counts towards rakeback.

The deposit bonus doesn't clear at a consistent % and loyalty points aren't acquired in perfect harmony with rake but, we were informed by StanJames that roughly 10 LP's are earnt for every $1 paid in cash game rake.


Further Deposit Bonus Info

The bonus has the same general terms as StanJames' standard $500 deposit bonus. It must be cleared in full and players have 60 days to clear it.
As previously mentioned, players need to earn points to the value of 18 times their first deposit.

It's an amazing deal indeed!





I'm reluctant to write down anything in % terms because it would likely breach Microgaming policy in some way. This however, is obviously a great deal at one of Microgaming's most reputable rooms.

i can't work out were the '1k' deposit bonus comes from, according to stan james's website its a $500 deposit bonus which is earned by generating 900 points?

As for the deposit bonus, that sounds like a typo. Approximatley 9,000 points would be needed to clear the $500 1st deposit bonus where as 18,000 points would be needed to clear the $1,000.

Ok, now I'm sort of confused, what does the bold bit mean?

Most poker sites have weird ways to calculate points that aren't directly related to rake paid.

For example if you contribute to the pot in an NL200 ring game at StanJames you earn 2 loyalty points. That contribution could be as high as $1.50 or a lower amount like $0.5.

I've personally not run the figures but, StanJames believe it averages out at 10 points for every $1 raked which doesn't seem unreasonable.

We've had a lot of requests about how the bonus is cleared and exactly how easy it is to earn loyalty points at StanJames.

StanJames estimated that for every $1 of cash game rake paid the user earns ~10 loyalty points.

The exact breakdown of how loyalty points are earned can be found here.

We've found that players playing micro stakes will not earn 10 points for every $1 in rake. So if you play micro stakes please keep this in mind.

This is still however, a unique deal and a great opportunity to get an incredible return.

That's correct although you would have to rake the full amount in one week to be eligible for the 50% rakeback.
