Don't think rake chases are legal on iPoker. Suprised Pokerstrategy are doing these kinda illegal things.

Do you have anything from iPoker allowing you to do this? If so if you could post it here I'll be signing up. If not I kinda assume it's illegal - no offence.

Not sure who exactly you are but, I wouldn't mind seeing some proof.

Have William Hill or iPoker told 2+2 that this is legal? Pretty sure it's illegal - or so I've been told. You guys saying it's legal doesn't really make it so lol.

Can we get some proof that iPoker sanction rake chases?

re: *** PokerStrategy.com: >$200,000 in Rake Races & >$100,000 in Freerolls every Month

@pokermike20:
Everything we do is fully legal with poker rooms.
We are even the strongest advocates of "clear rules" and "sticking to the rules".

Some networks, such as iPoker and Ongame, sadly don't have a clear regulation that puts players more on one level, independent of the skin or affiliate - that would be way better for the players in the long run (see other healthy poker rooms with centralised VIP systems such as PokerStars).

Inside the rules (which are not strict at iPoker at the moment), we still take our responsibility and create a great offer for our players. We are not willing to sacrifice our players' interests and are always going to the maximum that is allowed by the poker room / network.

Which is also why we have for example not just 27% rakeback at Full Tilt, but also the largest Full Tilt race ($75k monthly).

And yep, "Korn" = our CEO

More on topic: two hints!

1. Bodog $10k depositors freeroll next Sunday
-> juicy tournament (we don't expect more than 300 players) is a nice added reason to have a look if you never played at Bodog before!

2. Completely for free and not even a sign-up needed: EquiLab, probably the world's best equity training programme:

We want to reassure our members that we are not at all considering to cut promotions in the current turmoil.

On the contrary!
Now, we want to say: "Poker, more than ever!" - and support our players and partner poker rooms to keep up growth, liquidity, popularity and the best value promotions.

At a good timing, we present our Easter special:
A Freeroll on Sunday, April 25 at PartyPoker for all our players who deposit until April 21:
- $10,000 Cash
- one WSOP Main Event Package worth $14,000 to be won

do you really think that a company with this caliber would offer some promotion that violates the rules of the affected site?
