Feltstars not paying affiliates?

I have been running a small affiliate site based on bringing players to Feltstars. I have been averaging a few hundred dollars in sales until the beginning of May when my earnings so far are $0.

I have e-mailed their affiliate support, but have not been able to get a decent explanation as to why this has happened. Is anyone else experiencing this kind of problems with Feltstars?

Re: Feltstars not paying affiliates?

I got the following answer from their support:

"Because since the upgrade of 6/0 the down flow of information has been down. Of course Merge is working to get this information flow reestablished. So when the info does come it will look like everything took place in one day."

Has anyone else working with Merge have this problem?

I was talking to a Feltstars affiliate the other day who told me a similar line

However, this is not the case for the site I work with. I had no issue's whatsoever with my reports...

I've had no issues on two other merge skins as well. Doesn't mean FeltStars isn't telling the truth though.

True, but keeping your affiliates dark for a month? That's not a sound practice at all....

Re: Feltstars not paying affiliates?

Feltstars is owned by Oddsmakers.ag, a rogue sportsbook. Both are owned by FutureBet, who have taken online sports bettors and poker players for millions of dollars.

They may pay you as an affiliate, but I wouldn't promote them. They simply don't pay their players, and are an outright scam. If you have any intregrity, you will take them down and promote another Merge skin.

100% Accurate. Futurebet is the biggest scam in this industry.

I have been looking at this and I am not quite convinced they are owned or even affiliated any more with Futurebet. Personally, I have never had any problems withdrawing from the site and have not heard that any of my players have either.

I have not been promoting them actively for about a year although my affiliate site shows up #1 on google with certain terms.

The reason given by affiliate support seems weird in that they have changed affiliate tracking software at the beginning of this month which shows all of my revenues, except for one missing month. I will e-mail to find out more.

Re: Feltstars not paying affiliates?

I got word from a friend, who was a FeltStars affiliate, that FS contacted him in regards to his missing affiliate payments and subsequently made arrangements to pay him.

Hope this is true, and happens for all other outstanding affiliate payments!

Re: Feltstars not paying affiliates?

WEll Since Feltstars shutdown I heard that they had no thoughts on paying there players, enough already that Feltstars was giving like 6 players unlimited amount of tourney coupons
and splitting profits with them on there winning's they would be signed up in every singel tourney and never would rebuy into tourney's. who knows these could have been bots that ws signed up for all these tourneys, but there have been people on here stating that they are the people that was getting the coupons and all that. To me I think that is one reason why they are shut down now, because they was trying to get there very own cashier again which they use to have, and stated MERGE did not want them doing so. DO not seem to be a problem for Players Only which has there on Cashier and MERGE has no problem with that, I think its all because Feltstars was very shady and gave certain players all kind of stuff and paid there pro's way more than should be paid and thats why there gone, no reason to believe that they got in fuss with MERGE about there very own cashier when like said PO has there own cashier and sometimes get checks to people in less than a week, and Players Only does not even support Bad Beat jackpot which is one big thing that MERGE pushes so Feltstars got what was coming to them for making it un fair for everyone else.

Re: Feltstars not paying affiliates?

The FeltStars coupon thing was brought up with Merge many months ago and was deemed to be OK from what I heard.

Several players I know reported it to multiple skins and it reached Merge management.

I thought it sounded shady as described to me, but I heard it had something to do with having extra tournament coupons and was somehow OK/not shady.

What I'm posting here is obviously a little short on details, but it's not like I have a Merge manager to talk to or anything. I just heard some players reporting this and I'm relaying information bc it sounded concerning to me at first too.

If it was as bad as it sounds I would imagine it would've been shut down right away and would have been a bigger deal. I also think there might be a thread about this on 2p2 already.

Re: Feltstars not paying affiliates?

The FeltStars coupon thing was shut down months ago. There is a huge thread about it in Internet Poker forum.

The Merge BBJ is going away after it is hit this last time.

Re: Feltstars not paying affiliates?

Thanks for that info.

When I'd heard the other players reporting it and had looked at the thread nothing had happened and I had even heard back that the coupon thing was legit (not from FeltStars), but it did sound shady so that's good to know.

Edit: Looks like they shut it down around 8 months after it was reported, so that explains my memory of the thread + reports from players in early spring.

I wonder if the shut down had to do with tournament tickets not being available anymore rather than the practice being ended, but I have no information either way.

The reference thread for anyone interested: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...25/index7.html
