I bought this domain( danskespil.poker ) 2-3 weeks ago

got this email today and I don't know what to do

Dear Sirs,

I am contacting you on behalf of our Danish client, Danske Spil A/S.

Our client is a gaming company created by the Danish Parliament in July 1948 following the passing of the Danish Pools Act. The Danish State holds 80 % of the shareholdings. Danske Spil A/S is including subsidiaries among the 50 largest companies in Denmark with an annual turnover of DKK 10.9 billion. Their gaming business includes all types of betting and lottery games distributed through authorized agents and businesses.

It has come to our attention that you have registered the domain name <danskespil.poker>.

In Denmark, our client has exclusive rights to DANSKE SPIL in connection with gaming and gaming related activities, including poker. See the attached copy of our client’s Danish trademark registration of DANSKE SPIL.

No licence /permission/ authorization respectively consent has been granted to use the trademark DANSKE SPIL in the domain name <danskespil.poker>.

We consider it likely that you have registered the domain name with the purpose of benefitting of the fame of our client’s trademark DANSKE SPIL in connection with poker. The domain name clearly alludes to our client and its activities and has been registered in bad faith with the purpose of intentionally attempt to attract Internet users to your website by creating a likelihood of confusion with our client's well-known mark.

By registering and using this domain name, you are intentionally misleading the consumers and confusing them by making them believe that the website is associated with or recommended by our client. As a result, you may generate unjustified revenues and therefore you are illegitimately capitalizing on the DANSKE SPIL trademark’s fame.

Our client has instructed us to initiate UDRP proceedings. However, we would like to avoid the costs connected herewith and we therefore ask you to transfer the domain name voluntarily to our clients no later than 26 June 2015.

After this date, UDRP proceedings will be initiated against you or the current registrant at that time.

I'm not familiar with the company, but if there is a gaming company with the exact match to yours, you violated their copyright, at least how it would work in U.S. There are some exceptions like parody or if the phrase is a common name. Otherwise, give it to them before they sue you. If that is a brand name it will be obvious you intended to infringe on their copyright.

It's the government owned poker site in Denmark. And the largest poker site in Denmark.
What did you think would happen op?

This would be like buying playnow.poker and expecting the BC government not to have a problem with the website.

I'll go with he was hoping that they would make him an offer to buy the domain, and now he's discovering that things don't work that way.
