Question Chilipoker - Share The Chili 2012

Has anyone received their 2012 Share The Chili affiliate commission? As far as I know it is supposed to be sent between the 11th and the 15th into your Chilipoker (now Poker770) player account.

Re: Chilipoker - Share The Chili 2012

Hi DonSwanLeon,

We've not yet, but I trust the staff at Chili. We were told around the 20th.

How are you getting on with Poker770 - are your deals getting carried over?

I was told that Poker770 'Didn't buy the affiliate deals, just the players' so it all seemed a bit ambiguous as to whether they would honour them.

I'll keep this thread updated.

Jamie

Re: Chilipoker - Share The Chili 2012

Thank you for your response. Chilipoker's communication has been good, but there has been no clear date told to me by them.

Poker770, or the affiliate program, PokerGains.net, has been far from proactive in contacting me. I followed the instructions given by SharetheChili.com to create an account at PokerGains.net and waited for a response. It was my understanding that players would be tagged to the new account at PokerGains.net from the old SharetheChili account.

I decided to contact PokerGains.net today and received a reply asking:
Quote:
Can you please give me the details see below :

1) ID on chilishare
2) Current deal
3) Website
Question 2: I didn't understand fully what answer I should have given, so I stated "please explain this question, I'm not sure what you mean?" This went along with answers to the other questions, but have not received communication back yet.

In summary, I don't think the service has been great from PokerGains.net or Poker770.com It has taken them over two weeks to contact me from the transition, only until I emailed them today.

Thanks again for the reply, I too will update this thread.

According to pokergains.net the re-tracking process will start very soon (April or May). The players will be re-tracked from March 1. As of today, payments have not been issued yet from SharetheChili. I have been in contact with them and they are finalizing all payments.

Are you being forced to promote Poker770 in order to have players re-tracked?

I don't think so, why do you ask that?

Have you received your ShareTheChili commission?

No commission yet as far as I know.

Hopefully it will be today.

How about yourself?

No they haven't sent it yet. I'm somewhat confident that they will.

My main concern is when.

P.S. why are we the only two people in this thread?

Yeah don't get why we're the only two people, but that's the way it is I guess!

It will be a big relief when that commission comes rolling on in.

Re: Chilipoker - Share The Chili 2012

Alright Don,

In the name of keeping this thread bouncing, I did some research with our contact at Chili.

It turns out the finance manager decided to take her annual holiday around 4 weeks ago and is kicking back in Thailand. Not bad for some.

Until she is back apparently nothing can be done. She is expected back in the office on the 28th, so maybe payments at the end of this week?

I feel like this is turning into one of those threads that I look at and think 'Poor guys, they don't even have a hope of being paid'.

Take it easy,

Jamie

Re: Chilipoker - Share The Chili 2012

Jamie,

I heard a similar story.

If it is true, it is shameful that a CFO is taking a "mini-vacation" as I was told too.

I can't imagine taking a vacation during the transition of a company, especially during a time where reputations of online poker sites are so tarnished.

It is extremely irresponsible of Chilipoker ownership and management to allow this to happen, it's a flat out joke if it's true.

Re: Chilipoker - Share The Chili 2012

been emailing 770 for weeks to give me my chili bankroll and they always make excuses they have to check if the money was won legally or some bs. best thing is they claim on their website to process every cashout within 96 hours lol im waiting almost 3 weeks now.

im so disappointed that chili quietly walked away without informing peopple and left the their customers with 770 who hold on players rolls, kicks out affiliates, deletes players bonuses and stuff

Funny thing is some how I didn't look at it this way because I was convinced that they wouldn't do this, but the more I look at it, the more I think they are just walking off "quietly" as if no one will notice?

Re: Chilipoker - Share The Chili 2012

Good news. I received the commission and it was sent to the old Chilipoker account that can be accessed via the internet at chilipoker.com

So I'm cashing it out and will let you all know the outcome. The amount was correct. A little slower than I expected, however, so far so good.
