Bodog Bonuses

I read that Bodog does not allow rakeback anylonger, but are there other good bonuses/offers?

Re: Bodog Bonuses

Bodog turned into Bovada for U.S. players.

If you sign up, they will email you their "weekly" and "daily" bonuses. For example, this week you get $25 cash for just earning 50 poker points. They also have 100% match on first deposit bonus.

Yep, the company that has been running the US facing Bodog operations since late 2006 has discontinued their license with BodogBRAND.com and has rebranded the site to Bovada.lv.

There are still a number of bodog branded gambling sites in operation (all owned by separate companies) such as the European facing Bodog.co.uk, the Canadian facing Bodog.ca and the Asian facing Bodog88.com.

Thanks!
Becky

Re: Bodog Bonuses

hi since they changed brands, i have had 2 checks sent to me, one of the checks bounced, which bovada is not going to make good on, and the second check based out out of honk kong when i deposited this check my bank decided to close my account, i guess my bank felt this was a risky transaction after the last check bounced, so bovada has been nothing but dishonest and untrustworthy since taking over for bodog, so the business bodog built up over the last 10 years bovada has been able to ruin in less than 2 months, this company will not be in business for very much longer treating there customers like this, i assure you i am not trying to bash this site in any way, i am just letting people know what has happened to me, if they can steal my money, what makes you think they wont do it to you, my screen name on bodog was oxyman and i have nothing to gain by lying. so please be careful if you are thinking about playing here. good luck in what ever decision you make

I cannot speak for Bovada as I don't work for the company that runs the site but I do know you will be unable to play at Bodog.ca as they only accept Canadian based players. The European facing Bodog brand licensee is Bodog.co.uk. However, both Bodog.ca and Bovada are part of the Bodog Network (so is Bodog88.com, actually) so you will be playing poker against those players as well.

Hope this helps,
Becky

Re: Bodog Bonuses

OK, so bodog just hands all of the us players to another site. Hmmmm, sounds so ez. Oh wait! What about all of the rake that was being paid out to all of the affiliates for the past x amount of years?....Now, if bodog sells the US business isnt it standard that the purchaser takes on all of the liabilities within the purchase?
Yes, this is a no brainer. Which is why we all know that bodog owns bovada and they are using all of this as an excuse for breaching their contracts with affiliates. Not only were these affiliates responsible for bringing players to bodog, but in essence they are responsible for bringing those very same players to bovada. So why would anything change?
Bodog has messed with the way that I make a living with their anonymous tables and such but they also messed with my ability to bring additional money in through the agreement that I have with the affiliate that got me to play on BODOG. It turns out that I talked to my affiliate and it looks as though various affiliates are getting together to start build a lawsuit against Bodog. If this does not all get fixed, I hope bodog gets buried!!!

I just want to clarify something here- "Bodog" does not own Bovada, MMGG does. MMGG purchased the Bodog.com operations in late '06 and their license with BodogBrand.com to use the bodog brand name expired at the end of 2011, therefore MMGG rebranded the site to Bovada.lv. Its the same company.

Thanks,
Becky
