If I choose Elite Benefits over rakeback, what's the incentive to sign up under an affiliate vs. no affiliate?

This thread should probably be moved to WPN sub-forum.

There should not be a benefit regardless.

Affiliates are not allowed to offer under the table deals to players.

To those players lucky enough to actually know their affiliates, they CAN help in other ways such as answering questions regarding the site, etc.. Some affiliates also work in funds exchange for their players to easily help them deposit & withdraw with ease.

Nothing spells good affiliate like charging your players $ to cashout on top of the money you already make off their rake generation

Most affiliates I've ever known trade their players funds on sites like BCP at no charge HORUS. If your affiliate is vigging you on a xfer to get started on a site, it's worth talking around and seeing if there are better options out there.

As far as answering the original question of this thread, there are actual benefits, that are legal. Free videos, coaching, software and more are allowed to be given as rewards by affiliates for signing up to places like Black Chip.

So while your affiliate can't give you direct monetary rewards, they can provide you extra value.

They money can't simply be cashed out. If you send it to another person, it has to be cleared. So that person has to play on the site and pay rake to clear your transfer before he or she can withdraw it.

Wait are you saying if you send someone money that is still under a bonus playthrough or whatever deal, then that playthrough carries over to the next person?

I don't think he said anything about a bonus. Many sites require you to use any money you were transferred for play before cashing it out, so as to avoid being used like a bank.
