I wasn't sure what section to put this in. Anyways I just got Skrill and support isn't responding so...

...I just need help understanding how I get money on to my account. I added my bank account, clicked "upload", clicked "manual bank transfer" which brings me to another screen "Upload step 2: select currency and transfer the money" and when I click "To account overview" at the bottom it just brings me back to step 1.

I don't understand - is this because my bank account hasn't been verified yet (I just made my account 10 hours ago) or am I completely missing something?

Skrill support is a mess. I guess your bank account isn't verified.
However, check out https://www.ewallet-optimizer.com/. Those guys can help with stuff like that and speed up the process.

Good luck!

Thanks. Am I going to run into problems depositing/withdrawing?

I mean are they prompt/reliable in that regard?

Definitely trustworthy. They've been around for many years and are one the biggest affiliates for Skrill/NETELLER/ecoPayz.

Have never heard anything bad about them, only positive feedback all over.

Hey Nate

Skrill are very reliable they are now the same company as Neteller

We have never had any issues with them and we have been with them since the start.

Best wishes

Thanks, I appreciate the input. I just don't understand how to get my money onto my account from my bank account, and their support is so slow to respond.

I am not sure, but if you select “Bank transfer” you just have to follow the instructions to transfer any amount of your choice to the supported Skrill bank of your country. Usually it takes around 3-5 business days.

@Skrill & reliable

Yes, they are reliable, but their support is far away from "okay". Best way would be to use their phone support. Go to http://help.skrill.com/en/ContactSkrill/ and select the "call us" tab.

Our account is a business one so it may be different for personal accounts.

But when we log in we have the ability to Upload funds

It really should say "Deposit" - would make life easier!

Hope this screenshot helps

When you say 3-5 days do you mean to have my account verified or for each individual transaction to take place? Because when I click upload > manual bank transfer it brings me to a page where I can only click "to account overview", which brings me back to step 1.

I was talking about the transfer to your Skrill account. Every transfer from a normal bank account to your Skrill account usually takes around 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.

Can you post a screenshot from this page? That's really weird.

Aaah, now I get it

These are the account details you have to use to make your deposit.
You just need to make a transaction from your bank account to this Skrill bank account from the picture by using the reference ID.

So what exactly is going on if I do this? I am sending money from my bank in Canada to Barclay's in London, and then Barclay's is sending it to my skrill account?

Correct. That account is a normal bank account, owned by Skrill.

By using your personal reference ID they can link your payment to your Skrill account and will credit your deposit amount as soon as your payment hits this bank account.

Thanks for everything... although for my reference ID, at what point do I enter that? I don't really see an option in my online banking account.

If you make an online transaction using your bank account, there should be some field called "reference". It's the field where you usually add the number of a bill or something like that, to connect your payment to that unpaid bill.
