I have been using Skrill for years, but this whole time I had an affiliate, who doesn't pay cash-back. That was OK until the moment I discovered there are other affiliates who do. I e-mailed Skrill guys and eventually Rossen (the guy in charge of affiliate programmes) told me that under no circumstances can they allow customers to change affiliate (he said that might jeopardise the credibility of their affiliate programme). Which is a lie, since I know some people were retagged.

Anyway, that got me thinking. I looked Skrill Affiliate Agreement up and found out that affiliates receive % of customers' commission no longer than first 12 months. As I said I have been using Skrill for much longer period of time, so my affiliate will lose nothing. I will obviously lose nothing, neither will Skrill. So what's the damage?

Does anyone have the same problem with me? If so, how did you manage to solve it?

Also, if Skrill guys are reading 2+2, I'd love them to post here.

Just + EV - funny that skrill lies directly to customers. Rossen you should be embarassed at making such a bold-faced obvious lie.

I know from personal experience he's lying. Funny to see that Skrill lies so overtly to its customers. Rossen? Are you going to answer for yourself?

Short translation:
I am Russian, had the same problems, my affiliate gave me teh same lies, and eventually released me. So yes you can re-tag account and support give you wrong info.

Skrill should learn to stop lying to its customers. It's best agent is the one that runs the most honest business. Skrill retags players upon agent request all the time. I can tell you because I've done it many times myself. Rossen, you owe the community an apology for lying and the OP especially.

Skrill is clearly lyng for their own self interest. It's ironic that there seems to be one Skrill agent who is honest and he doesnt work for Skrill.

LOL@Rossen

Why could he not at least do what the politicians do and say "we are not able to forward your request, please get int contact blablablalbalblablalba".

Do they hire high school students for this?

Such a clear lie. I am not a Skrill affiliate nor am i a huge fan of that company for many reasons (i used to be a big fan).

I am however a big fan of this industry cleaning up. There's a lot of other things wrong with skrill.

Everybody who knows anything about Skrill knows that there is a **** ton of retagging going on.

I tried emailing him directly and the delivery failed. Has anybody else had any luck contacting him directly?

I am also looking to get re-tagged and Skrill have not acted upon my affiliate's request.

As far as the one year thing, I believe that the one year thing is renewed for reliable affiliates, so your affiliate may actually stand to lose something.

That said, if your affiliate is not paying cashback, that is pretty poor, it's essentially like a poker room letting affiliates pay rakeback and your affiliate paying you none.

Good luck getting switched to a better affiliate.

This bolded part is very much true for me as well. It seems very much hit and miss depending on what agent you get, unfortunately the one I was assigned transferred elsewhere and my opinion has changed severely for the worse since.

OP you should name your affil so anyone who sees this can steer clear of them.

Haha, I doubt that I can make people stear clear of my affiliate more than they already do. I am currently tagged to PokerStrategy. I think they might have some special deal, so Skrill won't let me retag.

I am trying to get retaged now too atm.

I signed up through EWO for Skrill and figured that everything on Skrill is set in stone so couldn't get any extra help. I recently came across a random affiliate by chance and asked out of curiosity if i could get my atm limits raised. was able to get my ATM limits increased to 2500 euro in one day... with just one email.

Not even tagged to the person... and they went out of their way to help out.

Soon also learned that he or she has helped out numerous players with getting their skrill cards in Mexico via Fedex. Instead i had to wait more weeks than I care to remember. I asked my current affiliate on more than one occasion and even offered to pay $100 to get my card shipped via Fedex.

But apparently big sites don't have any pull with Skrill, when a lone person can send one Email and have all of this fixed lol which seems like a total joke. So i don't see why customers of Skrill can't simply switch the affiliate they are dealing with if they don't help the customer have a good experience with skrill in any way.

Skrill should not retag accounts, it does undermine their brand as well as their affiliate program and causes some affiliates to push Neteller instead.

This thread does not exactly speak highly of their business practices, and not for what OP is complaining about.
