After I signed requested rb on this network I found out that bonuses are deducted dollar for dollar from rakeback, not MGR. It also carried over. For example if you cleared a $200 bonus you would lose that $200 off of your rakeback too, not just 30% of it.

FWIW I only got one offer. I'm not sure if the offer is allowed to be public. If that affiliate wants to PM me and tell me it is OK I will post who it was since it seems it is a monopoly and was a legit deal.

Are you talking about the deal I PM'ed you? It is a public deal, so I'd be happy for it to be out in the open.
Bonuses are deducted from MGR, not rakeback, however, you do get a reduced rakeback rate while clearing.

I have P4E and two other affiliates on record saying this is wrong. Your bonus cripples your ability to get rakeback for months to come. Heh, actually I forgot you sent me an offer too. This has also ben discussed at PAP. I can't see how the skins would be different.

Here is the thread at PAP.

http://www.pokeraffiliateprograms.co...-question.html

Two other affiliates have confirmed this experience as well, one sent me an email from their AM confirming it. It could be possible the skins do it different.

Afaik, this is because the bonus clears in a lump sum, so if the player doesn't complete the bonus in the first month, you'll be paying out a gross rakeback percentage, while the affiliate gets a NET rake percentage.... and he gets hit with the bonus in the next month, after he has been paid out.
This is fairly standard and would apply to any site offering Net rakeback in combination with bonuses that clear in a lump sum and don't expire before rakeback is paid out. If an affiliate were to offer rakeback on Ongame combined with bonuses, they would have the same problem.

There is a very easy way around this: The bonus has a fixed rakeback value, so if the player still has a bonus running, you deduct that amount from the player's current gross rake, then pay out rakeback over the rest. If the bonus expires, then you add the deducted amount back on to the player's net rake, and pay it out the next month instead. This is how I do it, anyway. It means I can't go negative, and players still receive rakeback while clearing bonuses.

Since I'm not getting many sign-ups at all, I'm going to try to raise the percentages a little. Can I post the new percentage scheme when I've revised it?

Please do not post %'s. I tried to do players a favor since I thought there was a monopoly and was going ot save them trouble. Please only PM offers to people that request it.

Correct.
I do it exactly the same way with my players
at poker4ever/ everleafgaming network and had no trouble so far.

@PNXRMX
I was told that there is a rakeback % cap at this network?
02-23-2008 , 03:01 PM
I haven't heard of a rakeback % cap

If you weren't sure, you could just read the Forum FAQ and find out that of course it isn't, or even just read the posts by PA in this very thread.

Or did you know this all along but think it was worthwhile getting your spam in here for at least a few hours?

I've already deleted one of your posts today. Now you post that you have sent a PM. Didn't bother to read the rules twice? Only posts in 2 years are spam, enjoy permabanville.
