Inspired by all the recent folks getting rakeback, I signed up for rakebackpros and then emailed the affiliates contact at FTP. I received an email and was wondering if this was standard or if I need to tell them I have signed up with rakebackpros. This is the email I received back.

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker.

Full Tilt does not pay players rakeback directly. There are a number of rakeback affiliates who offer players up to 27% rakeback if they sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their site.

Please note that this is not an issue which can be solved by opening another account with Full Tilt Poker, it is against our site policy to open more than one account. Though you could cease using your account, we do not remove it from our system, nor do we freeze accounts in order for players to create new ones.

However, we do value your continued support of Full Tilt Poker, and we are currently looking into organizing something that will help players who are not already attached to an affiliate. We have added your username to our files for further consideration.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best of luck on the tables!

Kind Regards,

Tomotaka

this probably means they put you on the waiting list for rakebackpros. after i received this email i received a second one about a month later saying i was selected to receive rakeback, but i dont think getting the first necessarily ensures the latter, and the wait time is most likely indefinite.

OK, first of all I'm not even sure if they sent me an e-mail for this or not because I might have deleted it with the rest of the spam in my email thinking that it was just spam.

Then I saw this thread and decided to give it a shot and try to sign up. To my surprise I was actually able to sign up for it.

For all the people that want it and didn't get an email maybe you should just try to sign up anyway - it might work!!!

2 questions:

1) Is rakebackpros.com the only affiliate that is doing this?

2) For the people that got an email: was it from Full Tilt or from rakebackpros and also what did it say?

this thread already addresses your initial statement in several posts. no, it does not work if you just sign-up. yes, it will let you sign-up, but your stats will not change and you will not get any money. rakebackpros (run by FTP) is the only affiliate offering rakeback on existing FTP accounts now afaik. the email is from FT and says you are a valued member and that you have been selected to receive rakeback on all your future play.

Will threatening to withdraw my roll help me become a 'valued FTP member'?

i did. i mentioned the volume that i played and reminded them that at stars you dont even need rakeback. the next day i tried to take out half my roll via bank transfer to try out stars and they emailed me saying they couldnt do bank transfers right now. after that, i doubled my volume to show them theyd be losing money if i left, and about a month later i got the magic email. i really dont know if any of this helped at all, but thats what i did. you might get it just as soon just waiting after they send you the initial email telling you youre on the list for further consideration, but i figured it couldnt hurt.

Ok I downloaded and installed FTP a couple years ago, but never deposited anything, I went with party instead. Now Party isnt as soft as it was and I want some ****ing rakeback. Seeing as the 100% deposit bonus applies no matter how long youve had an account as long as youre making your first real money deposit, shouldn't the same be true for rakeback? Full tilt told me no. How are you guys with existing accounts getting rakeback, and are there any workarounds for me to get rb? Thx in advance anyone who can offer advice.

Good advice:

1) If you want to know how to get RB on an existing account, how about reading the very thread you've posted in?

2) You're from Canada? Why the **** would you want to play at a tight-ass site like FT? Get yourself a good deal at iPoker or OnGame, do some bonus whoring, earn some affiliate kickbacks...anything but play at FT!

3) For the answers for the questions you'll have about point 2), don't post them here...this thread's about FT. There's tons of threads both here and in IB about good sites to play at, bonus whoring, etc. DO some research, and then post any more questions you might have.

just want to say that this thread was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I just had my rakeback account shutdown 2 days ago and my first account I signed up for when I was young and dumb without rakeback is now my only account I can use. I have signed up on rakebackpros.com, emailed their support, and emailed FTP's support. Hopefully all of that pays off in getting rakeback on the old account.

Any other advice if all that doesn't work? This seems like my best chance to get rakeback again.

if RB doesnt pan out, you could always go for supernova on stars, although you have to put in a lot of hands at decent stakes to make it.

Quick question for anyone who has succesfully signed up with rakeback pros
with an existing FT account: on the stats page where it shows the rakeback you've accumulated, why are they calculating 27% of my profit? Shouldn't it be 27% of the rake I've paid?

unless youre seeing something different than i am it is. column 1: date, 2: revenue, 3: rakeback. column 3 is 27% of column 2. revenue is your MGR. although for me the figure is slightly higher on rakebackpros than on my PT3. not complaining of course.

hmmm... thatd be sweet if they let you choose between taking a cut of your rake or profit.

Does anybody know how spending Iron Man medals works? Do they work the same as frequent player points or are they free from rakeback adjustments?

pretty sure getting and using ironman medals does not affect your MGR, but if you use them to buy a bonus or full tilt points, your MGR will be affected when you clear the bonus or use the ftp points to purchase something from the store.

edit: ironman midyear bonus is an exception and does not count against your MGR. it is a web based bonus.

Whoa! That's awesome! The second part that is. I thought I was going to have to kill off a lot of rake clearing that bonus, but if I clear the bonus and get rakeback for all the play that'll be really nice for my bankroll. That makes me happy. Thanks for the info.

It CAN be cleared at the same time as another bonus (since this is web based and the other bonuses are in the game). And finally, it's paid in one lump sum once you fully clear it, and if you don't fully clear it by the end of July you'll get a lump sum in early August of whatever partial amount you did clear.

Hi,

I read somewhere that Rakebackpros is invite only? Does this mean I need to wait for the e-mail from FTP? I read on these forums that some people just signed up without e-mail and they are getting rakeback o.O

Anyways, I logged in etc and see my stats, which has a date column, a revenue column, and a rakeback column. I'm just wondering if that means I have rakeback at FTP or not.

I havn't played at FTP since Jan. 2008 since I have no rakeback but I havn't withdraw any money.

Thanks

P.S. Can I play a small sample of hands - say 25 hands at .5/1nl or 1/2nl - and see my rakeback column being updated to like 1$ or smthing.

I merged your thread with this one since pretty much everything is dealt with in this thread.

"I read on these forums that some people just signed up without e-mail and they are getting rakeback" - I doubt this very much. I imagine what you read is that someone assumed they were going to get rakeback, and didn't in the end (because a few people went down this road). If you find someone that did, please link us to it.

I was wondering if someone could enlighten me as to when rakebackpros distributes rakeback. I was only sent the golden email in June and have only been getting rakeback for about a month. I am sure many other players have been with rakebackpros for some time so if any of them could let me know when they usually receive their rakeback it would be greatly appreciated.

Can someone post the e-mail to rakeback pros? Every time I click on the link to e-mail then, my mac pops up Mac Mail, but I don't have an account on that, so I can't get to their e-mail address.

I signed up with rakeback pros this morning though, is that what everybody else did, or did you e-mail them as well? I have been e-mailing Full Tilt about this issue, and hope to get on the list for rakeback. I played on the site on a regular basis for a few years at NL50, NL100, and some NL200, and referred other people to the site, so I don't see how refusing rakeback deals to loyal customers is good for business.

I signed up years ago before I ever heard of rakeback, and I am looking to start playing again on a regular basis, but without rakeback, it's kind of a buzzkill.

If anybody can post their e-mail address or any other thoughts or advice, I'm all ears. I read half of this thread so far, so if there is something that I haven't read yet, sorry.

Thanks.

I seem to be linked to an affiliate that doesn't give rakeback so I'm pretty much screwed untill full tilt comes up with something new.

I mailed both full tilt and rake pro and they both said I can't get rakeback.

However, I've heard I can make accounts for family members. How exactly do I go from this? Can I use the same neteller account while just registering with the name of a family member? Just doesn't sound like they'll buy that story.

Yeah I'm thinking of that too.

Anyone know if FullTilt allow two users registered under the same address?
