can someone explain exactly how the 888 rewards program works?

Their homepage does a terrible job at explaining how their rewards program works, how much $ do you get back exactly and if play isn't rewarded how can you earn higher 'rakeback'?

I don't know the exact details but I've been playing on it for a while. Basically if you sign up or deposit and qualify for a bonus of whatever amount, you have to put enough vpip to unlock it. This is the biggest chunk of your rakeback, and it seems not that hard to unlock, probably 25%+ rakeback. Apart from those actual cash bonuses, they have "jackpotland" free spins and tournaments daily and you can win a few bucks from that sometimes. Lastly you can level up (by vpip) and get some gold points every level which you can trade in for stuff and cash, but this amounts to maybe .3bb/100 at most.

and remember, they take a large fee on each wire transfer and they blame it on your bank.

People say pros don't play on 888 because of the rake sit but I see the same names sitting at the same tables. They often sit at 4-6 tables and they seem to play till late and start again in the afternoon.
any thoughts on this?
