PokerStars tournament players seem more valued than cash game players. ETA on the reload bonus?

First thing I would like to say is that I love PokerStars, but if I was a tourney player, I would love them even more.

I don't mind rakeback changes so much, cause I'm not playing for a living.
Maybe it made me a better player, I loosened up and I'm getting involved in more pots with profit. Nits also seem to be leaving.
I'm strictly a cash game player. That said, let's see what cash game bonuses PokerStars currently offer.

Happy Hour. Insignificant, imo. And I play 500 hands per hour.
Pace bonus, this one is very good, free money.
SuperStar Showdown, i.e. play Isildur1 heads-up.
Daniel's Room, where you can play or rail highstakes action with Daniel Negreanu.

Pretty much everything else is for tourney players.

100k depositor freerolls
Skrill Grand Freeroll
Special VIP tournaments
VIP TCOOP Satellites
Discount TCOOP tickets
Battle of Planets (SNG leaderboard)
MTT leaderboard
Anything with a word woman
Many regional promotions

Even fpp value is better for tourney players.
Granted, cash bonuses and rewards are good, but tourney players get better value of dollar per fpp with tickets.
I'm not sure if this is the case with supernova elite, though.

Am I wrong? Am I missing something?

There is a sign-up deposit bonus. I didn't take full advantage of it. I play a lot of micros. I would like a good deposit bonus for reloaders or something similar.

PokerStars support told me they can't even guarantee there will be a deposit bonus for reloaders this year, much less when.

On the other hand, I'm getting emails like every two weeks or every month from other poker sites and they are always trying to set me up with a reload deposit bonus.
What's up?

It's not the bonus, it's that I don't feel appreciated.

Everywhere I look, I see tourneys. Why not make it about cash games?
Can't there be at least a permanent cash game leaderboard or something?
I've only seen it on anniversary, does that mean it's like a weird uncle?

Am I getting the wrong impression? Should I start playing tournaments so I can take full advantage of PokerStars?
I'm exaggerating, but it's just to get my point across. It's not meant as a rant.

Pokerstars have always been stingy with reload bonuses. They usually offer a few a year, albeit on the weaker side compared to other sites. However they have noticeably declined on this front to be even stingier with bonuses in the last year. For example historically they always had a WCOOP reload bonus every year, but last year they did not. There will be one at some point in the future, but it will be weak.

Thanks, I didn't know that, I'm not playing on PokerStars that long.
They had a 10% up to 10$ bonus on anniversary, though.
One would think after new year and changing the rakeback, there would be a reload bonus.

With stupid generalisations you could easily make a list also to make cash look more appealing over any other form.
Start with the 6x VPP rate for example which tournament/SNG players don't have.
Now maybe you say, -but that is only full ring!!!
Well SNG players got no use of the tournament leaderboard just as Tournament players got no use of Battle of the planets.
Similar to how 6max player got no use for the 6x multiplier the FR guys get.

Also look at the billion dollar hand coundowns which neither SNG or tournament players gets to be a part of.

You post is biased and stupid and does not mirror the reality at all.

Re: PokerStars tournament players seem more valued than cash game players. ETA on the reload bo

Cash and tourney are two separates entities and it'd be hard to level them in terms of bonus and offers and other perks for players. However it is clear to me that a break-even sng players putting enough volume would get more than a break even cash game in terms of opportunity.
Beside the billion hand countdown, what is out there for cash game players? when everysunday stars offers the biggest online tournament with 1 mil guranteed, every sunday, i grind (or use to anyway) my tales the same. I wouldn't mind happy hours all the time and not only in January. I wouldn't mind rake reduction on cash game (and SNG for that matter). How can i sattelite to 200NL? I can't unless i put in loads of hours and grind my ass off. How can i sattelite into the sunday million? playing a sng running every 20 minutes or whatever frequency.
It is a fact that Stars does more for SNG/Tourney than cash game players.

Sure, I could have expressed myself in a more clear way, but that doesn't change the fact that I am right and you are wrong.
