I have a silver star, and it says I have $10, how do I claim that, do i want to claim it? how can i spend points, or should i be saving them for later?

depending on your statue you unlock a certain percentage of rake the higher your statue is the higher your percentage will be

The $10 is probably a stellar reward, look in the store. They cost 1 fpp. There's nothing to be gained by saving them for later.
