I have been on here for 1+ year and still don't have a pic

Everytime I try to add one, it says "invalid link," or the picture is too big, or something along those lines.
I have used imageshack, and even tried to take pics straight off my computer.
Could someone help by giving me a step by step explaination so I can get a picture on here?

Are you trying to use a Rick Astley pic? Because the forum software auto-rejects those.
