I went through some review sites but most are useless, you either are an employee who loves it 5/5 or you are a disgruntled customer venting their frustration.
I'm currently on virgin 10mb and am thinking about changing because it's so expensive, I save a lot if I move to o2 broadband because I have an o2 phone but there is nothing I hate more than bad quality internet and just want to know if o2 is like virgin broadband and I get unlimited usage, it's not choked etc and is generally pretty good.
Thanks for any help!

I'm on O2, having been on BT for years and deciding they were taking the piss on price. O2 are very good - no issues with it dropping out while playing poker, and download speeds are very good. Not sure what they're like about download limits cos the max I download in a month is probably 20-25gb, but I've never been pulled up for it.
I've had no bother with them, and it's UK callcentres who are actually very helpful. I called them up when I first signed up just to make sure I was getting the optimal download speeds and they ran a bunch of tests and changed some stuff which improved speeds.
Another thing is that setting up with them is a breeze. You get texts every time your order gets closer to being setup and a text to tell you when you're ready to plug your. Router in and get going etc.

iirc (left the UK 8 months ago), i paid some 20 quid per month for a 10mb and had no problems with that at all.

I'll save a few bob a month, ATM virgin is about 40 month for 10mbit + phoneline
o2 will be about 25 a month for 20mbit line + phoneline
