Quick question, id like to have my PC running a software 24/7 at home and access it from anywhere using my cellphone LTE/4G. I'm very noob with computers, but I'm pretty what I want to do it's possible. Software that I tough could do the job are United remote and team viewer.

I'm still researching it on google, but if any of you have experience or suggestions it would be really appreciated. Thx in advance.

Better option than team viewer and unified remote:

There's also a typo in the thread name, damn auto correct.

*could always use cellphone for thetering on my tablet, but phone is small so more convenient.

i have used teamviewer for many years to remote repair/debug families systems.
I also use the app to access my own system, it basically brings up your computer desktop on the device screen. It depends on what you want access for i suppose as well.
Make sure you set up teamviewer with a unique password for remote access and have teamviewer "start with windows" in the options.

I haven't seen or read much about it in months, i think, whatever it was was resolved as it seems to have gone away.

Cheers. I was using it at the time to assist family and had to have them uninstall.

I think chrome has a built in desktop sharing plugin or something, may have to check that out again

You could also try RealVNC, and i'd look up IPsec VPN for additional security.

Why? Just because of what you have heard?
I use it all the time and have not run into any issues, i also use 2 factor and very complicated passwords.
