Unable to install Postgresql on Windows 7

I am unable to install postgresql 8.3 on my new windows 7 x64 install. I am getting the error, unable to start service. I am running the install on my administrator account but still have no idea why it is acting like this. Postgresql was able to install fine in vista x64 sp1 so I don't see why it isn't able to start the service in windows 7, i mean after all, under the hood vista and win 7 are nearly the same.

thanks the help in advance.

The error message i am getting is "service postgresql database server 8. failed to star. verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

Can you confirm that link? Im trying all of the mirrors and none of them will work... its as if they removed the file for download.

Thanks.

Note: Only PostgreSQL 8.2 and above are supported on Windows.

PAHUD doesn't work with psql8.3
