Two USB devices (web cam + external mic) no longer working

I have a logitech webcam and a blue yeti mic. Both of these devices are no longer recognized by my computer despite re-installing drivers etc. I have tried the devices on another computer as well as a laptop and they are not working. All of my USB ports are working with other devices, but seeing as how the webcam and mic arent working on any computer it seems as though they somehow have gotten damaged. Any ideas?

Don't overthink it. All of your troubleshooting points to the devices being damaged.

I know the devices must be damaged, but I am wondering how it happened, and how I can't prevent in in the future. If it was a surge one woukd think my PC would be damaged.
