Triple monitor question (using a pci card?)

I have a dual-monitor setup using a DVI splitter on a PCI-Express video card. I'd like to set up a 3rd monitor, but the PCI-e disables the onboard video card. I'm not using this for gaming, so what would be a cheap way to get a 3rd monitor up and running?

My motherboard only has one PCI-express slot, with the rest being standard PCIs. Can I just buy a cheap PCI video card and run the two cards together? (something like http://www.amazon.com/HIS-9250-64-bi.../dp/B000PCD8ZW)

System specs:
Windows 7
Dell Optiplex 780 (standard issue dell pc)
ATI Radeon HD 3450 256mb (with DVI splitter)

This is for a work computer, so I don't care about running games. I'd like to make sure the option I choose doesn't result in some conflicts (like the PCI-e + onboard card is doing).

that card should work fine. try to keep them as far apart as possible when choosing a slot to avoid heat issues, and watch your temperatures afterward.

Yeah you can always use pci cards -- just the performance on those monitors will be worse than your pcie monitors. You shouldn't notice anything unless you're doing graphics intensive work.
