I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I can't seem to find any info through a google search. I use a treadmill desk and it's been working fine since I bought it about a year ago. All of a sudden the last few weeks it's been causing my computer do to crazy things. One of my monitors turns to all bizarre colors and I have to turn it off and back on to make it work again. The other monitor flickers on and off every now and then. And occasionally I hear a popping noise (even though my speakers are unplugged). This stuff only happens when the treadmill is running. As soon as I stop the treadmill everything works fine.

The only thing I could think of was I had too much power on my serge protector so I bought a new one and plugged the treadmill into it separately but I'm still having the same issues.

Any ideas?

Sounds like interference from the wiring, is there anything else you could plug into the new surge protector instead of the treadmill? See if that fixes it. Otherwise, make sure the cords from the treadmill and surge protecter aren't crossing other cords.

It took a couple tries but it seems to be working now. Thanks for the tip.
