Youre likely not talking about the computer password but password for applications/ websites.
It comes down to a trust. How much you trust them and that there are no bugs/vulnerabilities. Also consider how big is the downside. Is it juat some forum you use unique password for and if worst comes to worst someone can access your account or certain account they can do one click purchases.
there are applications which can store/remember your passwords but how safe are those, dont know. It is a judgement call and managing risk with important websites/applications.
Please specify what kind of password you mean and what which purpose.
