Hey, I have been browsing the net for a good Ultrabook for poker but I couldn't find one. I either find crappy configurations or gaming ones.

First here is my situation:
I want to be able to make reviews, watch videos, use basic poker software etc when traveling. So I'd like a good battery life.
Then I will most of the time be playing with an external monitor. I use both hm2 and pt4 when playing (pt4 for the propokerhud and hm for the cloud database sync mainly). I'm looking for a quad core and 16go ram.
I don't need a big HDD, a SSD with external HDD could be sufficient. I really don't need Nvidia gamer gpus. I don't need a big screen either. 13" would be perfect.

When I look on available offers I find either:
- 13" dual cores, with 8go ddr3 ram which are convenient but lack of power.
- overpriced gamer laptop with Nvidia gpus that are not really convenient to carry and low battery.
- a couple of 15" like the Dell xps15 that could fit with the specs I am looking for even though it is a bit big and pricey for what I want to do.

Is there anything else available out there ?

Thanks!

XPS 13
HP Spectre 13

And basically any ultra book with an intel i5/7-8+xxx-u chip.

Latitude and Envy are slightly more budget versions of XPS and Spectre.

I have a 6th Gen Lenovo x1 Carbon that I'm happy with. These are pretty light and the 6th and 7th gen Carbons have a quad core 15w CPU. Get the 2560x1440 screen if possible. These are a 14" laptop but quite thin and light.
These aren't cheap, but are high quality business grade laptops. RAM is soldered, so get the 16GB option. External HDD is not a great option for portability and reliability. Buy a system with a 512GB/1TB main SSD.

I'd recommend the Acer Spin 3 Convertible Laptop 14
